1、Unit 3 Inventors and inventionsPeriod 6 Summing Up , Learning Tip and Assessment整體設(shè)計(jì)教學(xué)內(nèi)容分析This is the last teaching period of this unit , so the emphasis should be placed on going over and summarizing what has been learned in this unit.It includes the following parts : Summing Up, Learning Tip, Chec
2、king Yourself and some other consolidation exercises.Summing Up summarizes the whole unit from the aspects of topic, vocabulary and grammar.The teacher can first use this part to let students sum up what they have learned in this unit and then let them find out what they can't understand very we
3、ll.Learning Tip tells students that never be afraid to make mistakes.Mistakes are one of the ways we learn and so nobody should be upset if they make mistakes.However , never continue to make the same kind of mistakes.Finally , ask students to finish Checking Yourself on Page 69 in the Workbook.This
4、 part aims at encouraging students to make a self-assessment after they finish learning this unit.It is very important to improve their learning.Of course , a testing assessment is also needed.In this period , the teacher can also provide more exercises to consolidate what students have learned in t
