1、.Dynamic Planet Final ProjectNatural Hazards and Our Dynamic PlanetWelcome to the Final Project of Dynamic Planet! This project will allow you to reflect and demonstrate your knowledge of Earth as a Dynamic Planet. You will be researching about either volcanoes or earthquakes. You will need to find
2、out: * What the hazard is; is it an earthquake or volcano; * A research piece about an event that happened in the past;* How it forms;* How it works;* How it affects living things;* How it affects non-living things;* What steps citizens can take to prepare for such hazards;* What people can do to pr
3、otect themselves once the hazard starts;* Where people can get further information.You will be working alone on this project.For this project, you will be asked to come up with your own plan for making an informational piece about natural hazards, including a historic dynamic event that has already
4、occurred. You will want to have resources newspaper articles, books, Internet access, etc available for additional research. As always, use your textbook and knowledge that you gained during this unit. You will have three days to do research in class. The final project will be due MONDAY, FEBRUARY 1
5、1, 2013.
