1、The analysis of the department for the Escape to the Wild Company詻筱敉Introduction: Escape to the Wild is a successful company, which sells specialist clothing for outdoor leisure pursuits through mail order and through a small number of retail outlets. But now it doesnt have a human resources departm
2、ent. This report will introduce four activities that the function will undertake, the purpose of the activities and the importance for helping the company to succeed. Also give the advice of set up human resource department, and the psychological contract with the human resource function.There are m

Human resource planning1) Definition of human resource planning:Human resource planning is the process of analyzing an organizations likely future need for people in terms of numbers, skills and locations.2) The purpose of human resource planning: l To ens
4、ure that firm has right number of people, in the right place, with the right skills at the right time.l To support firms expansion strategy l To forecast personnel needs and supply of candidates both of inside and outside.3) Process of human resource planningl Forecast personnel needsThe expected de
5、mand for companys product of service is most important when forecasting personnel needs. The usual process is therefore to forecast revenues first. Then estimate the size of the staff required to achieve this volume. In addition, other factors also should be considered, such as turnover, strategic d
6、ecisions, technology, and financial resources availability.l Forecast the supply of inside candidatesA qualifications inventory can facilitate forecasting the supply of internal candidates. Qualifications inventories contain summary data such as current employees performance record, educational back
7、ground, and promotability, compiled either manually or in a computerized system.l Forecasting the supply of outside candidatesIf there are not enough qualified inside candidates to fill anticipated openings, employers focus next on projecting supplies of outside candidates. This may require forecast
8、ing general economic conditions, local labor market condition, and occupational market conditions.4) The importance of human resource planningHuman resource planning is important for helping the company to succeed. By the human resource planning company can knowing the quantity of staff need in orga
9、nizations each department, and planning the number of employees. If company grasps the needs of employees, it will be according to the exact amount and recruiting employees. In other words, it will be save recruiting cost. And improve the efficiency of using employees.2. Job analysis1) Definition of

Improve the performance of the employee, and make company profit.As we all know that Escape to the wild company has no dedicated human resource function while the workforce has increase from 20 to appro
24、aching 300. At this time managers recruit the staff they need and within clear boundaries, have been delegate responsibility to determine their initial salary levels and pay rises. So it need set up a human resource function as soon as possible. The Human Resource Director is the chief of the human
25、resource management department. The Human Resource Director guides and manages the overall provision of Human Resources services, policies, and programs for the entire company. And originates and leads Human Resource practices and objectives that will provide an employee-oriented, high performance c
26、ulture that emphasizes empowerment, quality, productivity and standards, goal attainment, and the recruitment and ongoing development of a superior workforce. While the Human Resource Director coordinates implementation of services, policies, and programs through human resource staff. Besides, it re
27、ports to the CEO and serves on the executive management team; and assists and advises company managers about human resource issues. Because the Escape to the Wild has no dedicated human resource function and meet some problem for staff management. So it needs a Human Resource Director to deal with t
28、he problem.The Corporate Human Resources Recruiter is responsible for delivering all facets of recruiting success throughout the organization. This will be achieved through the development of local and national recruiting plans, employing traditional sourcing strategies and resources as well as deve
29、loping new, creative recruiting ideas. The Corporate Human Resources Recruiter will play a critical role in ensuring we are hiring the best possible talent. At the same time, develop and execute recruiting plans, network through industry contacts, association memberships, trade groups and employees,
30、 coordinate and implement college recruiting initiatives, and administrative duties and recordkeeping. In this case, the Escape to the Wild recruits the staff without clear boundaries. So it need a Corporate Human Resources Recruiter.Training and development managers and specialists conduct and supe
31、rvise training and development programs for employees. And plan, organize, and direct a wide range of training activities. After that assess the training needs of employees and guide them through the most appropriate training method. At the same tine confer with managers and supervisors or conduct s
