13、across, through, past & over across, through和 past都可以作介詞,都可以表示“ 穿過” 。across強(qiáng)調(diào)“ 橫過” ,從物體表面的一邊到另一邊。through指“ 穿過;透過 ” ,表示從物體內(nèi)部或空間穿過。past指“ 從旁邊經(jīng)過,走過 ” 。over意為“ 越過” ,指從物體上方 (不接觸物體的 ) “ 經(jīng)過” 。e.g. the students walked across the street when the traffic lights were green. the river goes through the town
