1、Book7 Unit1 Living well 閱讀課Martys story教學(xué)設(shè)計(jì)教學(xué)年級(jí):高二年級(jí)教材課型:選修7 Unit1 Living well 閱讀課 Martys story教材版本:人教版授課時(shí)間:45分鐘一、 教材分析(一)教學(xué)內(nèi)容本單元圍繞殘疾及殘疾人生活這一主題介紹了一些殘疾人憑借頑強(qiáng)的毅力和社會(huì)的關(guān)愛克服生活中的種種困難,以積極的態(tài)度面對(duì)人生的挑戰(zhàn)。這一主題是一個(gè)非常貼近生活、具有挖掘性的教學(xué)主題。本課時(shí)是第一課時(shí),我將Warming Up,Pre-reading,Reading和Comprehending四部分組合為本單元的第一課時(shí)。處理閱讀課文時(shí),我主要采用了任務(wù)
2、型教學(xué)模式,既要提高學(xué)生用英語獲取信息、處理信息、分析問題和解決問題的能力,又要教會(huì)學(xué)生學(xué)會(huì)關(guān)愛生命,主動(dòng)幫助和關(guān)懷殘疾人。(二)依據(jù)的新課標(biāo)理念新課標(biāo)提出:英語課程的學(xué)習(xí),既是學(xué)生通過英語學(xué)習(xí)和實(shí)踐活動(dòng),逐步掌握英語知識(shí)和技能,提高語言實(shí)際運(yùn)用能力的過程;又是他們陶冶情操、拓展視野、豐富社會(huì)經(jīng)歷、開發(fā)思維能力和提高人文素養(yǎng)的過程。二、教學(xué)目標(biāo)(一)語言知識(shí)與技能目標(biāo):1.掌握以下重點(diǎn)詞匯和短語ambition,disability,fellow,independent,beneficial,encouragement, in other words, all in all, out of b
3、reath, make fun of.2.理解和運(yùn)用以下重點(diǎn)句型. I have learned to adapt to my disability.b. Just accept them for whom they are and give them encouragement to live as rich and full a life as you do.(二)能力目標(biāo)1.通過填寫信息表和對(duì)段落大意的概括,使學(xué)生掌握scanning的閱讀技巧,培養(yǎng)他們分析主題和用英語獲取信息、處理信息的能力。.通過Post-reading的選擇題,提高他們的閱讀速度和快速尋找信息的能力。(三)情感態(tài)度
4、與德育目標(biāo).從Marty Fidlding不幸但堅(jiān)強(qiáng)積極的經(jīng)歷中,學(xué)生可以學(xué)到面對(duì)不幸要勇敢,激發(fā)學(xué)生對(duì)人生和命運(yùn)的感悟,提高學(xué)生理解、尊重和幫助殘疾人的意識(shí)。.在師生互動(dòng)的活動(dòng)中,調(diào)動(dòng)學(xué)生的學(xué)習(xí)興趣,加強(qiáng)教師的親和力,增進(jìn)彼此的了解與溝通,充分發(fā)揮情感教學(xué)的優(yōu)勢。三、教學(xué)重點(diǎn)與難點(diǎn)(一)教學(xué)重點(diǎn):理解主人公Marty Fielding身殘志堅(jiān),以積極的態(tài)度快樂生活的故事,提高學(xué)生尊重和關(guān)心他人的意識(shí)。(二)教學(xué)難點(diǎn):.培養(yǎng)學(xué)生的閱讀策略,使其形成略讀、跳讀等能力。但學(xué)生有可能在深層理解的問題上有困難。.幫助學(xué)生理解殘疾人所面臨的困難,增強(qiáng)學(xué)生的同情心與愛心,引導(dǎo)他們珍惜時(shí)間,珍惜生活。四、教
5、學(xué)過程Pre-class: Collect stories about the disabledWhile-class:Step1Leading in設(shè)計(jì)意圖:從提問入手引出殘疾人的話題,通過觀看影片和猜測游戲讓學(xué)生了解這些殘疾人的頑強(qiáng)意志及其取得的輝煌成就。1.Ask students questions Do you know her name? Whats her disability? Whats she famous for? Play a video for students to watch. 用這位感動(dòng)中國十大人物之一的殘疾人邰麗華來引起學(xué)生的興趣。(同時(shí)播放千手觀音片斷)設(shè)計(jì)
6、意圖:通過視頻給同學(xué)們視覺上的刺激,促使他們對(duì)即將要上的內(nèi)容更加感興趣。2.A guessing game接著設(shè)計(jì)猜名人游戲讓學(xué)生了解更多取得過輝煌成就的殘疾人;同時(shí)簡單介紹其成就。Who are they? What are their disabilities? Whats their achievements?Show the pictures of Stephen Hawking, Beethoven, Zhang Haidi and Zhou Zhou .Step2. Pre-reading通過介紹“Family village”,讓學(xué)生說出這一網(wǎng)站的目的,重點(diǎn)在于該網(wǎng)站不僅對(duì)殘疾人
7、大有幫助,而且對(duì)健全人也同樣有所裨益。以激發(fā)學(xué)生的閱讀興趣。1. To give ordinary young people with a disability the chance to tell their personal stories.2. Other disabled people also find the website beneficial. 3. The website is also a way for non-disabled people to understand more about how challenging life can be for people w

Reading1.Scanning(略讀)讓學(xué)生通過略讀填寫下面信息表,以幫助學(xué)生了解Marty的疾病給生活帶來的困難和他如何克服這些困難并取得成就的; Read Martys story and fill in the chart.Problems caused by his disability1. weak and cant run or climb stairs as quickly as others2. clumsy and often drop things or bump into furniture3. sometimes t

What will you do when meeting with difficulties in the future?設(shè)計(jì)意圖:在分析完文章結(jié)構(gòu)和內(nèi)容,并且做完習(xí)題之后,通過討論喚起同學(xué)們理解、尊重和關(guān)心殘疾人的意識(shí),進(jìn)而增強(qiáng)學(xué)生們克服困難的勇氣和信心,并引導(dǎo)他們珍惜生活。同時(shí)這也是本節(jié)課的重難點(diǎn)和思想精髓之所在.Step 5. 14、mistic, independent, happy ,stupid設(shè)計(jì)意圖:通過對(duì) “Marty是一個(gè)怎樣的人?”進(jìn)行討論和小結(jié),引導(dǎo)學(xué)生去體會(huì)Marty的殘疾給他帶來的種種不便,以及他是如何克服這些困難,使自己的意志得到磨練的。同時(shí)啟發(fā)和激勵(lì)學(xué)生學(xué)習(xí)Marty的精神:任何時(shí)候都不向困難低頭!tep 6: Homework 1.
