Its various according to individuals willing. Most of us want to be successful in a certain degree and take
2、 this as the meaning of life. There are lots if obstacles in the way towards to success. So, lets back to the original stage. Were the normal. If we cant be successful, then well be the loser considered the worst situation. Some may cant bear this kind of feeling and want to give up. Then, here one
3、more question arising. How should we define success? Is it anyone who makes a great sum of money or win an honorable fame? Success is a kind of experience praised by public; failure is a kind of experience undesirable to public. Thats the major distinct between success and failure. From my point of
4、view, no matter what kind of results we may get, we all can be called being successful because we all get the valuable experience. Do not feel ashamed of being a loser. Keep in mind that once being a loser and later forever being a winner. Believe in yourself. Thats the key point I want to emphasize
5、. The meaning of life is simple to explain since success is an attitude. Life itself is meaningless. We human beings add our subjective consciousnesses to life and want it to become meaningful. Just make sure what are we chasing for. Those who commit suicide surely cant get what they want or even do
6、nt know what they want. Whether we can be free if we are dead? I wish it would be, but we dont know about that. Since dying isnt so fearful to us, is there anything more dangerous than that? Then turn our eyes once again in this world and well find it seems more colorful than we think it used to be.

Unfortunately we are so constituted that we get to love our routine. But apart from our regular occupation how much
13、are we alive? If you are interested only in your regular occupation, you are alive only to that extent. So far as other things are concerned-poetry and prose, music, pictures, sports, unselfish friendships, politics, international affairs-you are dead. Contrariwise, it is true that every time you ac
14、quire a new interest-even more, a new accomplishment-you increase your power of life. No one who is deeply interested in a large variety of subjects can remain unhappy; the real pessimist is the person who has lost interest. Bacon said that a man dies as often as he loses a friend. But we gain new l
15、ife by contacts, new friends. What is supremely true of living objects is only less true of ideas, which are also alive. Where your thoughts are, there will your live be also. If your thoughts are confined only to your business, only to your physical welfare, only to the narrow circle of the town in
16、 which you live, then you live in a narrow cir-conscribed life. But if you are interested in what is going on in China, then you are living in China if youre interested in the characters of a good novel, then you are living with those highly interesting people, if you listen intently to fine music,
17、you are away from your immediate surroundings and living in a world of passion and imagination. To be or not to be-to live intensely and richly, merely to exist, that depends on ourselves.
