6、ttention to individual rights and interests and freedom; but chinese society pay attention to moral life and interpersonal interdependence. among them is the characteristics of marriage. admittedly, with the development of society and the chinese and western culture fusion, the understanding of the

15、g, i mean such information enlightens me, whether directly or indirectly, as to my subject from many significant aspects and thereafter gives birth to my methods of thinking. the research involves not only a thorough and deep understanding of a chain of basic principles in linguistics, particularly in respect of pragmatics, but also a detailed study of marriage.a brief and succinct analysis of literal translation of english into chinese will be inevitably involved, but a follow-up reflection on cultural factors
