1、Unit 6 Im watching TVSection B 1 1a-2c一、教學(xué)目標: 1. 語言知識目標:1) 能掌握以下單詞:pool, shop, supermarket, man, host, study, state, the United States, American, dragon, young, race, say, other, children, miss, wish, delicious, living room 2) 能掌握以下句型: What time is it in Beijing? Its eight oclock in the morning. Its
2、 9:00 a.m. and Zhu Huis family are at home. Zhu Hui misses his family and wishes to have his moms delicious zongzi. 2. 情感態(tài)度價值觀目標:培養(yǎng)同學(xué)間的友好相處,規(guī)范自己的行為,同時能提高他們的觀察能力和判斷能力,激發(fā)他們對學(xué)習(xí)英語的興趣和熱情,在接近生活常態(tài)的交際中能樂于模仿,敢于開口,積極參與,主動請教。了解中西方文化的不同,具有世界觀念,了解其他的國家的文化。二、教學(xué)重難點1. 教學(xué)重點:1) 掌握本課出現(xiàn)生的詞及表達方式。2) 進一步練習(xí)運用現(xiàn)在進行時態(tài)的句子來描述他人
3、在做的事情。3) 通過聽、說、讀的練習(xí),提高學(xué)生們的綜合運用能力。2. 教學(xué)難點 閱讀短文,獲得相關(guān)信息,完成相關(guān)任務(wù)。三、教學(xué)過程. Warming- up and revision1. Review the knowledge on the present progressive tense. 2. Check the homework and let some Ss read their sentences. . Presentation 1. T: Show some pictures on the big screen. Present some new words and expr
4、essions. (pool, shop, supermarket, ) 2. Give Ss some time to remember the new words and expressions. . Writing1. T: Look at the pictures below. Where are they? What are they doing? Please look at the pictures and fill in the blanks. 2. Ss work in groups. Discuss the pictures about the places and the
5、 activities they are doing. Then fill in the blanks. 3. Let some Ss read their answers to the class and check the answers. . Pair work1. Look at the pictures and ask and answer questions. Give Ss a model:A: Is the man swimming in the river? B: No, he isnt. Hes swimming in a pool. 2. Ss work with the
6、ir partners. Ask and answer about the pictures. (If necessary, give some help to the Ss.)3. Let some pairs ask and answer about the pictures. . ListeningWork on 1c:1. T: Now I will play a recording of a conversation. This time write the places you hear in the chart. 2. Ss listen and write the places
7、. 3. Play the recording again for the Ss to check the answers. . Listening Work on 1d: 1. This time, please listen to the recording and write the activities you hear in the chart.2. Play recording and stop the tape if necessary. 3. Play the whole recording and have students write the words they hear

10、watching boat race and making zongzi? Does Zhu Hui like his host family? What about his home in China? Ss read the article quickly and find the answers to the two questions. Check the answers with the class. 2. Careful Reading Read the article again. What are these people doing now? Then fill in the

Make sure Ss know what to do. 閱讀指導(dǎo):1) 讀表格中的詞匯,根據(jù)短文內(nèi)容,將左右兩欄的內(nèi)容連在一起。2)可以先將記得清楚的詞匯連在一起,最后連較較為模糊一點的詞組。3)帶著這些詞組再去讀短文,找到相關(guān)詞組的地方,然后明確所連的詞組是否正確。4)比照課本上的句子,再用這些詞組造句子。學(xué)生們按老師指導(dǎo)的思路進行學(xué)習(xí)活動,最后,將所造的句子寫在練習(xí)本上,并將相互檢查所造句子的正確與否。 Homework 1.
