Lead in ( 5 ) (導(dǎo)入) A student gives a report.The title “What do you think of doing chores?” The teacher says in our daily life,we will meet many problems,but we have many good ways to solve them.(設(shè)計意圖:通過學(xué)生做匯報,既提高了學(xué)生的口語表達能力,又復(fù)習(xí)了重點話題內(nèi)容。)Step 2. Show the learning items. (2)(出示目標(biāo)) Look at the screen ,ask students to read together.The students understand what we will learn in this lesson 1.單詞(1個)短語(3個):allow,look through,big deal, work out2.能詢問陳述自己或他人的困難和麻煩A:Whats wrong with .?B:Im really tired because I studied until midnight last night 3. 能正確使用情態(tài)動詞should,could,句型Why dont you.?,Why not?表達建議。(設(shè)計意圖:目標(biāo)明確,讓學(xué)生了解本節(jié)課學(xué)習(xí)的重點知識以及需要掌握的基本語言技能。)Step3. Complete the learning items. (25)(完成目標(biāo))1.Ask students to look at the picture The teacher says,“This is my room,My room is dirty. What should I do? ” My advice is doing some cleaning Ask students to use this advice to fill in the blanks with right forms. Could you please do some cleaning?Youd better do some cleaning?Would you mind doing some cleaning?What about/How about doing some cleaning?Would you like to do some cleaning? Shall we do some cleaning?Lets do some cleaning.(設(shè)計意圖:復(fù)習(xí)鞏固歸納以前學(xué)過的表達建議的句型,給學(xué)生重新再現(xiàn)句型,從而導(dǎo)入新句型的學(xué)習(xí)。)2.The teacher says we can use these sentences to solve our problems ,today we will learn four sentences.Why dont you do some cleaning?Why not do some cleaning?You should do some cleaning.You could do some cleaning.Translate these sentences into Chinese. Pay attention to these structuresWhy dont you do some cleaning? This sentence means Why not do some cleaning? 3.The teacher asks students to look at the picture and says Whats wrong with me ? ,Whats the matter? Whats the trouble?The teacher says I argued with my best friends yesterday.Some advice: write her a letter say sorry to her call her upWhat should I do? Why dont you ?/Why not ?You should/could The teacher asks students to use advice to make sentences.The students follow the teacher to make the sentences.Then answer one by one. Ask students to think over the forms of sentences.According to them,we can know four sentences and how to give advice(設(shè)計意圖:通過句子漢譯翻譯,句子結(jié)構(gòu),學(xué)生操練句子,讓學(xué)生自主學(xué)習(xí)思考從而引出本節(jié)課重點表達建議的句型。)4.Look at the pictures and Chinese ,read the problems and the advice,ask the students to translate them into English. Lets learn the words and phrases together.a.Problem:和最好的朋友打架了get into a fight with/have a fight with my best friendAdvice:跟朋友說對不起say sorry to your friendb.Problem:have to study too much 沒有得到足夠的睡眠dont get enough sleepAdvice:更早睡覺go to sleep earlierc.Problem:have too much homework 沒有空閑時間做我喜歡的事dont have free time to do things I likeAdvice:先完成作業(yè)finish homework first 再看電影and then go to the moviesd.Problem:有太多課外輔導(dǎo)班have too many after-school classesAdvice:與父母交流talk to your parents/communicate with your parents /have a communication with your parentse.Next ask students to pay attention to this main wordallow allow sth.允許某事我不允許這樣的事。I cant allow such_ _ a thing. allow doing sth. 允許做某事不允許在教室吃飯。We dont allow eating_ _ in the classrooms. allow sb. to do sth.允許某人做某事父母不允許我深夜還留在外面。My parents dont allow to_ _ me _ stay out late.Problem:父母不允許我和朋友閑逛My parents dont allow me to hang out with friends.Advice:在家讀一些有趣的書read some interesting books at homeAccording to them,we can know problems and advice(設(shè)計意圖:這一環(huán)節(jié),明確學(xué)生遇到的普遍問題以及解決這些問題的建議。)5.Group discussion.Two students work in works.For example,one says if my car is dirty,what should I do,the other answers,then change roles,ask and anwser each other.Then act out dialogues.If your car is dirty, If you are ill,If you are thirsty, If you dont know the way, If you are too fat, (設(shè)計意圖:通過學(xué)生小組互助合作探究一問一答做對話,操練表達建議的句型。)6Listen to the tape twice. Peters friend is giving him advice. Fill in the blanks with could or should.(設(shè)計意圖:通過聽錄音,培養(yǎng)學(xué)生聽的技能,同時更進一步掌握情態(tài)動詞在表達建議時的使用。)7.Read 2d and answer the following questions.1. Whats wrong with Kim?2. Whats Daves advice to him?8Ask students to find the main points.Two students work in pairs ,help each other to find out the difficulties.Let students speak first,then check anwers.look, sound, taste, feel +adj.find sb./sth.doing sth.looking through be angry with sb.Its not a big deal.=Its no big deal.work out(設(shè)計意圖:通過學(xué)生自主互助合作探究掌握對話中出現(xiàn)的短語,句型。)9.Group work.Four ,five or six students work in groups to make a dialogue like this .Put up a scene and a role,have creation with actions and expressions.A: You look really _. Whats wrong?B: I _. What should I do?C: Why dont you _?B: Its not easy.D: Why not _?B: But I dont want to_.E: I think/Maybe you should(could)_.B: Thats a good idea. Ill try.(設(shè)計意圖:通過學(xué)生小組互助合作探究做對話,讓學(xué)生到前面表演,操練表達建議的句型。)Step 4.
