八年級（上）units 4到6重難點精講考點一 that takes about ten minutes. 那需要花費大約十分鐘。（u4p21） 【用法歸納】辨析 take，spend, pay與cost（2011年貴港32題考查） 四個詞都有“花費”之意，其用法區(qū)別為： take一般有it作形式主語，常用結構有it takes或者took somebody加上money或者time to do something. spend一般是人作主語，常用結構somebody spend或者spends加上money或者time on something; 也可為somebody spend或者spends加上money或者time (in) doing something. pay的主語通常是人，常用結構為somebody pay或者pays加上 money for something. cost的主語通常是物，常用結構為something cost或者costs somebody加上money. 如： i spent eight dollars on the book. 等于 i spent eight dollars (in) buying the book. 等于i paid eight dollars for the book. 等于 it took me eight dollars to buy the book. 等于 the book cost me eight dollars. 我買這本書花費了八美元。 【知識拓展】 take的其他用法 動詞 乘；坐；搭(車船等)。如： shall we take a boat to taiwan？ 我們乘船去臺灣好嗎？ 動詞 拿走。如： do not take it away. 不要把它拿走。 動詞 吃；喝；服用(藥)。如： take this medicine on time. 請按時吃藥。 動詞 拿；握??；抓住。如： he took the paper and walked away. 他拿了張紙就走開了。 動詞 帶去;引領。如： can you take me to the library? 你能帶我去圖書館嗎？考點二 we both like sports, although liu ying is more athletic than me.我和劉英兩人都喜歡體育，雖然她比我看起來更健壯一些。（u6p33） 【用法歸納】辨析both與all（2011年貴港33題考查） 兩者既可作形容詞，又可作代詞，表示“全；都”之意，其區(qū)別如下： both 表示“兩者都”,其反義詞為neither，意為“兩者都不”。both什么and什么連接兩個并列主語、謂語、賓語等，謂語用復數形式，表示“兩者都怎么樣；不但怎么樣而 且怎么樣”。both of加上名詞或者代詞復數形式，謂語動詞也用復數形式，表示“兩者都”。如： both tom and jim are students.湯姆和吉姆都是學生。 both of us like reading. 我們兩人都喜歡讀書。 all指“三者或三者以上的人或事物”。它修飾名詞單數時，表示“全；總”；修飾名詞復數時，表示“全部的；所有的”。其反義詞為none,意為“全不”。all也可與the,of 連用，即all the加上名詞表示“整個，全部”；all of加上名詞或者代詞表示“所有的”。它們謂語動詞的單復數取決于后面所跟的名詞。如： all these mails must be answered. 這些信全部都必須回復。 all of them have been invited. 他們所有人都被邀請了?？键c三 liu ying is not as good at sports as her sister.劉英不像她的姐姐一樣擅長運動。（u6p33） 【用法歸納】as什么as的用法（2013年玉林防城港35題考查） 作比較時，當被比較的雙方在性質、特征、狀態(tài)、程度方面相同時，用as什么as結構，相當于漢語中的“和什么一樣”。句式是“主語加上謂語加上as加上原級再加as”。如 li ming runs as fast as ben. 李明跑得和本一樣快。 當被比較的雙方在性質、特征、狀態(tài)、程度方面不相同時，用not so什么as結構或者not as 什么as結構，相當于漢語中的“不如”，句式是“主語加上謂語not加so加原級再 加 as”?；蛘咧髡Z加上謂語not加as加原級再加as。 如： her hair is not so long as her sisters.等于her hair is not as long as her sisters. 她的頭發(fā)沒有她姐姐的長。 【知識拓展】 the same as與as什么as的區(qū)別 兩者均為“和什么一樣”，the same加名詞加as再加名詞或者從句；而as加形容詞加as再加名詞。如： the same age as you和你同歲 the letter was written in the same year that the novel was published. 那封信寫在那部小說發(fā)表的那一年。 as beautiful as和什么一樣美麗考點四 liu li has more than one sister.劉麗不止有一個妹妹。（u6p33） 【用法歸納】辨析more than與 over(2012年玉林防城港39題考查) more than 意為“超出，不僅僅是” more than與over比較： over只單一的表示量的超過，表示這個意義時可與more than 互換。 more than可表示: 量的超過 we have more than 20 eggs. 不僅僅是 she is more than a teacher.she is our friend,too. 比起什么更怎么樣 jack is more lazy than stupid.比起愚蠢，jack更懶惰?？键c五 call english study center at 4435667 for more information.致電4435667到英語學習中心獲取更多信息。（u6p35） 【用法歸納】辨析information，message與news（2012年玉林32題考查） information不可數名詞，一般指信息；消息；情報；資料；資訊。如： please send me the information about your company.請把你公司的信息發(fā)送給我。 相關短語：take a message for somebody為某人捎口信；leave a message留口信；collect information等于receive inf
