10、引導(dǎo)的句子表示的是狀態(tài)或延續(xù)性的動(dòng)作,常用進(jìn)行時(shí)態(tài)。,【辨析】while,when,as 三者都可表示“當(dāng)?shù)臅r(shí)候”,引導(dǎo)時(shí)間狀語(yǔ)從句,它們之間有共同點(diǎn),也有不同之處。 (1)while引導(dǎo)的從句中的謂語(yǔ)動(dòng)詞常用延續(xù)性動(dòng)詞,表示從句的動(dòng)作正在進(jìn)行時(shí),主句的動(dòng)作發(fā)生了。 (2)when和as引導(dǎo)的時(shí)間狀語(yǔ)從句中的謂語(yǔ)動(dòng)詞可以是延續(xù)性動(dòng)詞,也可以是非延續(xù)性動(dòng)詞。 (3)as引導(dǎo)時(shí)間狀語(yǔ)從句時(shí),常強(qiáng)調(diào)主從句謂語(yǔ)動(dòng)詞表示的動(dòng)作的同時(shí)性,含有“一邊一邊”的意思。,7.Anne was filled with pride. be filled with意為“充滿(mǎn),裝有”,是fillwith的被動(dòng)形式。fil
11、lwith意為“用裝滿(mǎn)”。fill是動(dòng)詞,其形容詞為full,反義詞為empty。 【拓展】be full of意為“滿(mǎn)是的”,表示狀態(tài)。 8.As Helen grew older,she made a lot of progress and learned to read. 本句是由as引導(dǎo)的時(shí)間狀語(yǔ)從句。 make progress為固定短語(yǔ),意為“取得進(jìn)步”,其中progress為不可數(shù)名詞。,9.She did her best to help others in the community who were deaf or blind. 本句含有由who引導(dǎo)的定語(yǔ)從句,先行詞是ot

13、”。,(4)others是other的復(fù)數(shù)形式,泛指別的人或物(但不是全部),不能作定語(yǔ),構(gòu)成someothers。 (5)the others是the other的復(fù)數(shù)形式。特指其余所有的人或物。 10.She will be greatly missed. 本句是一般將來(lái)時(shí)的被動(dòng)語(yǔ)態(tài),其構(gòu)成為“will be+動(dòng)詞的過(guò)去分詞”。 greatly為副詞,意為“很,非?!?常用于動(dòng)詞或分詞前。,Work in groups.
