陳述句作賓語時，賓語從句用that引導。that只起連接作用，沒有實際意義，

在從句中不充當任何成分，因此常可省略。

2.Idon’tknowwhether/ifIshouldtakehisadvice.

Hewantstoknowif/whetheryouareadoctor.

一般疑問句作賓語時，賓語從句用if或whether引導。它們在句子中的意思是______（如果/是否）,在從句中不充當任何成分，但不可省略。

只能用whether，不能用if引導的情況：

1)在介詞的后面

2)與ornot直接連用

賓語從句的時態(tài)一般受主句時態(tài)的影響。

如果主句是一般現(xiàn)在時或一般將來時，that,whether/if引導的賓語從句可根據需要使用適當?shù)臅r態(tài)。

當主句是一般過去時，從句要用相應的過去時態(tài)。

當從句表示的是名言、客觀真理或自然現(xiàn)象等時，一般不受主句時態(tài)的限制，均用一般現(xiàn)在時。
