1.GRE詞匯-典故法：

英語中有許多詞是來自于一個典故的，這種典故有可能是人、事、物或者古希臘羅馬神話，把握了這個典故就可以關(guān)心你更好地背誦以及理解這個單詞的精確含義，快速增加GRE詞匯量。

比如narcissism一詞的典故：Narcissus是一名俊美的希臘青年，他拒絕了女神Echo的求愛，所以他注定會愛上他自己在湖中的倒影，作為懲處。由于沒法令他的愛變得完滿，他日益消瘦，最終變成了一朵以他命名的花——那西賽斯，也就是水仙花。而narcissism則表示這位青年才俊的自戀行為，也就是自戀的意思。

2.GRE詞匯-拆分法：

顧名思義，把一個詞按自己便于記憶的方法拆分開，從而把這個詞給記住。雖然不如詞根詞綴記憶如此有效，但是一旦遇到，效果依舊很抱負。比如：adamant這個詞，意思為堅決的，我們可以把這個詞拆解為三部分：a(一只)+dam(大壩)+ant(螞蟻)→一只站在大壩上的螞蟻，雖然說風(fēng)浪很大，但它一依舊矗立不到，自然就有堅決的感覺了。

3.GRE詞匯-諧音法：

依據(jù)一個單詞的讀音，與這個詞的詞義聯(lián)系起來，從而相應(yīng)地把這個詞給記住。比如有個詞stubborn，意思是頑固的，你可以把這個詞記為死大笨，這三個形容詞特別具有頑固的感覺了。
