InSeptember20xx,IenteredtheschoolofforeignlanguagesofHunanUniversityandbeganmydoctoralstudy.IstudiedlanguagetestingundertheguidanceofprofessorsfromMilwaukee,WisconsinandHunanUniversity.Themaincoursesofstudyincludeintroductiontogenerallinguistics,essentialsoflanguagetesting,cross-culturalcommunication,secondlanguageacquisition,principlesofpedagogy,SPSSstatisticalanalysis,etc.Duringthisperiod,IparticipatedinMr.xiao'sresearchproject"explorationandpracticeofcomputertestinginCollegeEnglishGradingTeachingExamination",andmadeChineseandEnglishrecordingsfortheoperationguideofthegradingtestsoftware.Throughthein-depthstudyofgraduatecoursesandaseriesofscientificresearchactivities,Ihaveanewunderstandingoflanguageresearch,furtherimprovedmyresearchabilityandacademiccultivation,andlaidanimportantfoundationformyfutureworkandstudy.InSeptember20xx,IgraduatedasagraduatestudentandsuccessfullyenteredtheschoolofforeignlanguagesofZhengzhouInstituteofaeronauticalindustrymanagement.Inadditiontoteachingandeducatingpeople,Iactivelyparticipatedinvariousscientificresearchactivitiesoftheschool,publishedmorethan10papersinvariousacademicjournals,presidedoverorparticipatedinthreeprovincialandmunicipalprojects,andstrivetointegratescientificresearchexperiencewithteachingactivitiesandachievegoodresults.In20xx,hestoodoutandwonthespecialprizeintheteachingskillscompetitionforyoungteachersfromotherhospitals.
However,thereisnoendtolearning.Atleastoneofaperson'sbodyandsoulshouldalwaysbeontheroad.Asaproverbsays,ifyourest,youtrust.Sinceenteringthepost,althoughtheteachingskillshavemadegreatprogress,intermsofscientificresearch,thereisalwaystheconfusionofwalkingatnightwithlanternsandneverfindingthebrighteststarintheskytoguidemeforwardthatnight.Iincreasinglyfeelthatmyownviewofknowledgeandresearchideasarequitenarrowandneedtobeopenedfromanewperspective.Franklyspeaking,Icanonlyknowalittleabouttheresearchfieldofcognitivelinguistics,butIambynomeansfamiliarwithitandhaveneverbeendeeplyexploredastheresearchfocus.However,afterreadingyourarticle,althoughIcan'tfullyunderstanditsessencewithmycurrentknowledgestructure,Ihavebenefitedalot.Inonewordofyourarticle,eacharticleiseyeopener.Foralongtime,Iagreethatmanyrhetoricorlanguagephenomena,includingmetaphor,arenotonlyawayoflanguageexpression,butalsoawayofcognitivethinkingbasedonindividualexperience,whichmakesmehaveafurtherconsensusinyourarticle.SomecomparativeanalysisandresearchintheprocessofChinese-Englishtranslationhavealwaysinterestedme.IrememberthatIlovetoplaywithmywritinginmysparetime,andsprinkleseveralemotionsintheformofpoetry.Occasionally,Ipublishdocuments,andvariousrhetoricarecommonforms.Butfromacognitiveperspective
