活動目的為了豐富校園文化生活,展示學(xué)生及教師的英語口語水平,激發(fā)學(xué)生學(xué)習(xí)英語的興趣,鍛煉學(xué)生口語交際能力,促進(jìn)我校學(xué)生"學(xué)說英語"的良好氛圍,提高英語教學(xué)質(zhì)量,形成師生二合一。英語教研組決定開展"英語之星"演講比賽活動。二、活動的意義:

〈1〉提高同學(xué)學(xué)習(xí)英語的積極性,特別是提高對英語口語訓(xùn)練的積極性。

〈2〉豐富學(xué)生的課余生活。

〈3〉為學(xué)生提供一個學(xué)習(xí)和交流英語學(xué)習(xí)的平臺,共同進(jìn)步。

〈4〉加深對英語口語的重要性的認(rèn)識。

〈5〉經(jīng)過舉辦活動,為廣大英語愛好者提供一個互相交流和學(xué)習(xí)的機會。三、參賽對象及參賽方式參賽對象:全體在校學(xué)生參賽方式:比賽以公平公正為原則,以豐富和活躍校園生活、促進(jìn)交流與溝通為宗旨,分為預(yù)賽和決賽二個階段,預(yù)賽在班級內(nèi)部進(jìn)行,由各班級自行組織實施,選出3名選手參與決賽。

四、組織機構(gòu):組長:高春紅副組長:薛凌組員:郝榮榮郝淑娟任冬明吳婷婷李曉霞張苗苗五、比賽內(nèi)容及方式1、選手自選題目。要求演講內(nèi)容積極、健康、向上。每人演講時間為3分鐘。2、大賽分為自我介紹和演講比賽。依據(jù)評委打分計算出成績,最后頒發(fā)一等獎1名、二等獎1名、三等獎1名,優(yōu)秀獎3名。六、比賽時間及地點:時間:1月5日地點:學(xué)校餐廳七、具體評分細(xì)則

1)發(fā)音標(biāo)準(zhǔn),流利。(1分)

2)節(jié)奏處理得當(dāng),技巧運用自如。(1分)

3)表現(xiàn)力、應(yīng)變能力強,能活躍氣氛,引起高潮.(1分)八、活動準(zhǔn)備:9月111月獲獎學(xué)生演講材料:FriendshipWhatisfriendship?Itistorelatewithsomebodywithoutneedformoneyorobjective.Itistoneedemotionandoverwealthisfriendship,nomatterwhattheirbackground,age,sexorpersonality.Friendshipcanbepure.Wehear,nowadays,however,howonecanbecheatedbyfriends.Manypeoplegetalongwithsomeonebecausetheyhavealotofmoney.Itisdoubtfulthatisrealfriendship.Havingfriends,onecanbefindhappiness.Ifyouareintroubleyourfriendswillhelpyouthroughoratleastcomfortyou.Whenyouarehappy,theyshareitwithyou.Theyarealsothereforyoutochatwithatanytime.Itisawonderfulfeeling,astheproverbsays"toloveeachotheriseasybuttomakefriendsishard",So,itiscrucialthatweshouldgetalongwithourfriends.Inmyopinion,itisashametodeceiveyourfriends.Theworldwouldbemorebeautifulifitwasfulloffilledwithfriendship.MyteacherDoyouhaveateacher?Youmaysay“Yes.”Everyonehashisteacher.Youhave,hehas,andsodoI.InmymindI'llneverforgether-myfirstEnglishteacher.Wehavemanyteachersinourschool,someofthemoldandsomeofthemyoung.Amongtheseteachers,thereisonewhomIparticularlylikeandrespect.SheisMs.Wu,andyoungwomanof28.sheseemstoknoweverythingandsheteacheswell.Sheisnottall,butshehastwobigeyes.HervoicesoundsbeautifulandshespeaksEnglishverywell.Sheisveryhumorous,andshealwaysteachesusinaninterestingway.Sometimessheplayswithus.She'sverykind.Shelikessingingandcollectingposters.Sheisgoodatplayingthepiano.Intheevening,shealwayssitsinfrontofthepianoandplaysnicemusic.Sheisgoodatdancing,too.Sometimessheteachesusdancing.Shelikesdogsverymuchbecausethedogisveryfriendlyandcute.Herfavoritecolorisblue.Becauseblueisthecoloroftheskyandthesea.Thisismyfavoriteteacher.Ourclassmatesalllikeherverymuch.Oh,IforgottotellyouthatsheteachesatSijiaohighSchool.ARaceOnceuponatimetherewasaharewho,boastinghowhecouldrunfasterthananyoneelse,wasforeverteasingtortoiseforitsslowness.Thenoneday,theiratetortoiseansweredback:"Whodoyouthinkyouare?There'snodenyingyou'reswift,butevenyoucanbebeaten!"Theharesquealedwithlaughter."Beateninarace?Bywhom?Notyou,surely!Ibetthere'snobodyintheworldthatcanwinagainstme,I'msospeedy.Now,whydon'tyoutry?"Annoyedbysuchbragging,thetortoiseacceptedthechallenge.Acoursewasplanned,andthenextdayatdawntheystoodatthestartingline.Thehareyawnedsleepilyasthemeektortoisetrudgedslowlyoff.Whentheharesawhowpainfullyslowhisrivalwas,hedecided,halfasleeponhisfeet,tohaveaquicknap."Takeyourtime!"hesaid."I'llhavefortywinksandcatchupwithyouinaminute."Theharewokewithastartfromafitfulsleepandgazedround,lookingforthetortoise.Butthecreaturewasonlyashortdistanceaway,havingbarelycoveredathirdofthecourse.Breathingasighofrelief,theharedecidedhemightaswellhavebreakfasttoo,andoffhewenttomunchsomecabbageshehadnoticedinanearbyfield.Buttheheavymealandthehotsunmadehiseyelidsdroop.Withacarelessglanceatthetortoise,nowhalfwayalongthecourse,hedecidedtohaveanothersnoozebeforeflashingpastthewinningpost.Andsmilingatthethoughtofthelookonthetortoise'sfacewhenitsawtheharespeedby,hefellfastasleepandwassoonsnoringhappily.Thesunstartedtosink,belowthehorizon,andthetortoise,whohadbeenploddingtowardsthewinningpostsincemorning,wasscarcelyayardfromthefinish.Atthatverypoint,theharewokewithajolt.Hecouldseethetortoiseaspeckinthedistanceandawayhedashed.Heleaptandboundedatagreatrate,histongue

lolling,andgaspingforbreath.Justalittlemoreandhe'dbefirstatthefinish.Butthehare'slastleapwasjusttoolate,forthetortoisehadbeatenhimtothewinningpost.Poorhare!Tiredandindisgrace,heslumpeddownbesidethetortoisewhowassilentlysmilingathim."Slowlydoesiteverytime!"hesaid.InnovativeThinkingHaveyoueverthoughtthatwhatisInnovativeThinking?Somebodywillsaid,“thinkingsomethingdifferent!”Infact,it’snotsosimple.Haveyoueverthoughthowtothinksomethingdifferent?Now,letmeexplainittoyouindetail!First,weshouldadmitthatInnovativeideasdostartinonemindbeforetakingontheworld.Onlyinthisway,wehavethepowerofInnovation.Forexample,theradio,television,telephoneandsoon,allweredevelopedbyscientists.Andthesescientistsallhadtheabilityandcouragetothinksomethingdifferent.ItisawellknowfactthatAlbertEinsteinwasthemastermindofthenuclearbombs.Second,weshouldbegoodatdiscoveringandbeabletobreaktheconventions.Sometimes,therearealotofsubjectsofInnovationaroundus.Butmoreoftenwelacktheabilityofdiscovering.So,onlyifwebegoodatdiscoveringandsummingup,wecaninnovate.Finally,Iwanttosay,asamiddleschoolstudentinthenewcentury,wemusthavethecourageandconfidencetomakeinnovations.Andweshouldstudyhardfordevelopmentofourcountry!Becausewearethebuildersofourmotherland!Honorableteachers,ladiesandgentlemen,andmyfellowstudents,accordingtowhatIhavesaidabove,haveyoulearntmoreaboutthe“InnovativeThinking”?Ofcourse,youhave!Ibelievemyspeechisperfect!AndIalsobelievethataslongasweexpandourthinking,wewillfindsomethingdifferent.That’sall!Thankyouforyourlistening!HealthWecareaboutourselvesmoreandmore.Weeatwhat'srightandweexercise.Weabsolutelyembracehealth.However,itisnotonlyourhealththatweshouldembrace,thoughmanyofusdonotrealizethat.Manyofusdonotrealizethattheearthweliveonisafragilebeingthatneedstobeprotectedlikeanewbornchild.Weprobablyhaven'tevennoticed,thatwitheachstridethecivilizationtakestowardtheultimatedevelopment,moreburdensareaddedtotheearththatprovidesuswithessentialstolive.Thedecreaseinairquality,theclimatechange,medicalwaste,noiseandwaterpollution,andevenfoodpoisoninghasaddedtothelistofgrowingconcernstoourlivingenvironment.Humanarenotsupernaturalbeings,thustheseproblemshaveaffectedprettymucheverymatter.Weupgradegadgetsandmakefulluseofnewertechnologies,butwepayfortheconsequencesinturn.Forinstance,theadventofbatteriesandmachineryhascausedmilliontonsofwaterbecometoxicandundrinkable,furtheraggravatingthealreadyseriousconditionofwatershortageandpoisoninginseveralcountries.Theover-productionandover-useoftransportationvehiclesandelectricityhascontributedtotheGlobalWarmingandcausedmyriadsofspeciestodisappearfromthefaceoftheearthduetohome-lossandtemperaturechange.Wehavebroughtwonderstotheworld,buthavealsodestroyedmiraclesofnature.Weareconcernedaboutournutritionalintakeandexerciseallthetime,sowhyshouldn'twecareabouttheconditionsofourlivingplanetaswell?Timeistickingon.Weshouldn'tputoffthewhole"savetheenvironment"affairanylonger.Please,dowhatfeelsrightinourhearts,eventhoughitisonlyatinymatter.Saveupresources,promotetherecyclingandreusingofproducts,andalwaysremembertotakesometimeoffgoingintothewoodsandbreatheinthesweetnessintheair.Wehavecomefromthewoods,thuswewouldallhaveasecretdesireinourheartstoharmonizewithnatureagain.Remember,everylittlethingmatters.MyfatherIthinkmyDadwasaheroformewhenIwasayoungchild.We'dgofishing,walks,andotherfunthingsforakid.
