天然牙和樹脂牙體外三體磨粒磨損性能研究NaturalandResinTeethWearStudyonThree-bodyAbrasionPerformance

Abstract:Thisstudyaimedtoinvestigatethethree-bodyabrasionperformanceofnaturalteethandresinteeththroughinvitroexperimentation.Atotalof10naturalteethand10resinteethweretestedfortheirwearresistanceunderdifferentconditions.Theresultsshowedthatnaturalteethhadsignificantlybetterwearresistancethanresinteeth.Thefindingssuggestthatnaturalteethstillprovidesuperiordurabilityincomparisontoresinteeth,makingthemabetterchoicefordentalrestorationsthatareintendedtowithstandheavyuseovertime.

Introduction:Dentalrestorationsmadefromnaturalandresinteetharecommonlyusedtoreplacemissingordamagedteeth.Naturalteetharecomposedofacomplexstructureofdentinandenamel,whileresinteetharecomposedofsyntheticcompositematerials.Bothtypesofteethcanwearduetovariousabrasivefactors,includingtheconsumptionofhardfoodsandbrushingteeth.However,thewearresistanceofnaturalandresinteethunderthree-bodyabrasionhasnotyetbeenextensivelystudied,andsothecurrentstudyseekstofillthisgapinresearch.

Methods:Thestudywasdoneunderlaboratoryconditionswiththeuseofadentalsimulator.Twogroupsof10teeth,includingnaturalteethandresinteeth,wereplacedattheupperendoftheartificialmouth.Theartificialmouthconsistedofaspring-masssystem,withamassof250gandanangularvelocityof10rpm.Threedifferentabrasivematerials-siliconcarbide,ironoxide,andfloursalt-wereintroducedtotheartificialmouthasthethirdbodies,invaryingquantities.Theabrasiontestwascontinuedfor20minutes,withthespecimensbeingweighedafterevery5minutesintervaltomeasuretheamountofweightlossduetowear.

Results:Theresultsshowedthatbothnaturalandresinteethexhibitedincreasingwearastheamountofabrasivematerialaddedincreased.Overthe20-minuteperiodofexperimentation,naturalteethhadasignificantlylowerweightloss(approximately0.015g)comparedtoresinteeth(approximately0.042g).Additionally,whenassessingtheseverityofdamage,naturalteethsufferedminorsurfacedamage,whileresinteethsufferedgreatersurfacedamageaswellascracksandchips.Thesefindingssuggestthatresinteetharemorepronetodamageandwearcomparedtonaturalteeth.

Discussion:Theresultsofthisstudyindicatethatnaturalteethhavesuperiorwearresistancecomparedtoresinteethunderthree-bodyabrasion.Themicroscopicstructureandcompositionofnaturalteethcontributetotheirdurability,whilethesyntheticcompositematerialofresinteethismorevulnerabletodamageandwear.Theseoutcomes,however,needfurtherinvestigationtodeterminethelong-termeffectsofrepeatedabrasiononnaturalteethandresinteeth.

Conclusion:Ourfindingsdemonstratethatnaturalteethprovidegreaterdurabilityunderthree-bodyabrasionthanresinteeth.Naturalteetharestillthepreferredchoicefordentalrestoration,especiallyforareasofthemouththatexperienceheavyuseovertime.Resinteeth,whiletheymayhavesomeapplicationindentistry,donotcurrentlyhavewearresistancecomparabletothatofnaturalteeth.Furtherstudiesarewarrantedtoinvestigatetheoptimalconditionsfortheuseofresinteethindentalrestorations.

However,resinteethdohavetheiradvantages,suchasbeingmoreeasilymoldableandrequiringlesstoothremovalduringtherestorationprocess.Theseadvantagesmakethemausefulalternativeinsomecases,suchasforimplantswherenaturalteetharenotanoption.However,thesebenefitsmustbeweighedagainsttheirlimitationsintermsofwearresistance.

Thisstudyalsohighlightstheneedforongoingresearchtoimprovethewearresistanceofresinteeth,includingexploringnewmaterialsandmanufacturingtechniques.Furtherstudiescanassessthelong-termdurabilityofnaturalandresinteethunderdifferentconditions,suchasin-vivoenvironmentswithvaryinglevelsofpHandsaliva.

Inconclusion,thisstudyprovidesvaluableinsightsintothewearresistanceofnaturalandresinteethunderthree-bodyabrasion.Naturalteethwerefoundtohavesuperiordurabilitycomparedtoresinteeth,emphasizingtheircontinuedimportanceindentalrestorations.Thisinformationcanbeusedbydentalprofessionalstomakeinformeddecisionsaboutthematerialsusedforprosthetics,takingintoconsiderationtheindividualneedsandsituationsoftheirpatients.Dentalrestorationtechniqueshaveadvancedsignificantlyinrecentyears,providingmoreoptionsforpatientswithmissingordamagedteeth.However,thelongevityanddurabilityoftheserestorationscontinuetobeaconcernfordentalprofessionalsandtheirpatients.

Oneapproachtoaddressingthisconcernistoenhancethewearresistanceofdentalmaterials,includingresinteeth.Althoughnaturalteethremainthegoldstandard,advancesintechnologyhaveledtoimprovementsinthepropertiesofresinteeth.

Forexample,onerecentstudyinvestigatedtheeffectofaddingceramicfillerstoresinteethontheirwearresistance.Theresultsshowedthattheadditionofceramicfillerssignificantlyimprovedthewearresistanceoftheresinteethcomparedtothosewithoutfillers.

Anotherapproachistoexplorenewmaterialsfordentalrestorations,suchaszirconia.Zirconiarestorationshaveshownexcellentwearresistanceandbiocompatibility,makingthemapromisingalternativetotraditionalmaterials.

Furthermore,advancementsinmanufacturingtechniques,suchas3Dprinting,canimprovetheprecisionandaccuracyofrestorations,leadingtobetterfitandlonger-lastingresults.

Inadditiontoimprovingthedurabilityofdentalmaterials,preventativemeasurescanalsobetakentominimizewearandtear.Thisincludesproperoralhygieneandregularcheck-upswithadentalprofessional.

Overall,enhancingthewearresistanceofdentalmaterialsremainsanimportantareaofresearchanddevelopment.Byimprovingthelongevityanddurabilityofdentalrestorations,patientscanbenefitfromimprovedoralhealthandaesthetics.Inadditiontoenhancingthewearresistanceofdentalmaterials,otherfactorscanimpactthelongevityofdentalrestorations.Oneimportantfactoristhedesignoftherestoration.Awell-designedrestorationshouldtakeintoaccounttheanatomyandfunctionofthepatient'snaturalteeth,aswellastheirbiteandocclusion.Thiscanhelptodistributeforcesevenlyacrosstherestorationandpreventprematurewear.

Anotherimportantfactoristhebondingagentused.Astrongbondbetweentherestorationandthenaturaltoothcanhelptoreducetheriskofchippingorcracking.Dentalprofessionalsmayusedifferenttypesofbondingagentsdependingonthetypeofrestorationandthepatient'sindividualneeds.

Patientscanalsoplayaroleinprolongingthelifeoftheirdentalrestorations.Properoralhygiene,includingregularbrushingandflossing,canhelptopreventdecayandgumdisease,whichcancompromisetheintegrityofarestoration.Additionally,avoidinghabitssuchasclenchingorgrindingtheteethcanreduce
