本片面是在SectionA的根基上，通過對自然和文化的對比過渡到了動物這一話題。本片面呈現(xiàn)了大象、熊貓以及熊貓研究基地相關(guān)的內(nèi)容，通過聽、說、讀、寫等活動，引導(dǎo)學(xué)生學(xué)習(xí)更多表達(dá)對比的句式布局，了解大熊貓等瀕危動物，培養(yǎng)養(yǎng)護(hù)動物的意識。2a--2e是一個(gè)閱讀板塊。閱讀材料是關(guān)于大熊貓的一篇報(bào)道，具有說明文的一些征。2a的讀前活動供給了一些詞匯，讓學(xué)生自己組織語言說一說大熊貓，為2b的閱讀活動做好了話題打定。2b要求學(xué)生閱讀文章，運(yùn)用尋讀法（scanning），快速查找每個(gè)數(shù)字所表達(dá)的意義。2c的讀后活動讓學(xué)生再次運(yùn)用尋讀策略，根據(jù)問題所要求的信息點(diǎn)快速定位并找出問題的答案。2d是通過對文本細(xì)節(jié)信息的理解并運(yùn)用文中的語言將相關(guān)句子補(bǔ)充完整。2e是一個(gè)開放性的問題，要求學(xué)生想出更多方法扶助拯救大熊貓，啟發(fā)學(xué)生斟酌。
