e.g.ShedrankmorebeerthanJackdid.Sheplaysfootballmoreoftenthanhersisterdoes.（3）在比較級(jí)+than的結(jié)構(gòu)前可以加上某些副詞類和表示倍數(shù)的詞，以對(duì)其進(jìn)行修飾，如：far（遠(yuǎn)），even（甚至），much（許多），still（更，還），alot（許多），alittle/bit（一點(diǎn)），rather（相當(dāng)?shù)兀?，threetimes…（三倍、……），Thisbookisfarmoreinterestingthanthatone.這本書比那一本有趣多了。You'vebeenworkingmuchharderthanIhave.你一直比我工作得努力多了。ShecameevenearlierthanIasked(himto).她來(lái)得甚至比我叫她來(lái)的時(shí)間還要早。（4）比較級(jí)中的兩個(gè)特殊作用的結(jié)構(gòu)是：The+比較級(jí)+句子，the+比較級(jí)+句子。越（怎么樣就）越（怎么樣）。Themore,thebetter.Themoreexercisesyoudo,thebetteryoucanstudy.Theolderthechildrenget,themoreworriedtheparentsare.ThemoreIlearn,themoreIknow;ThemoreIknow,themoreIknowIdon’tknow;（5）用比較級(jí)的形式表達(dá)最高級(jí)的意思。常在比較狀語(yǔ)中用any,other,else類的字眼。Heistallerthananyoneelseinourclass.他在我們班比其他任何都高。Ironismoreusefulthananyothermetal.鐵比其他任何金屬更有作用。

.形容詞最高級(jí)的用法表示三者或三者以上(人或事物)的比較,其中一個(gè)在某一方面超過(guò)其他幾個(gè)時(shí),用最高級(jí).最高級(jí)的前面要加冠詞the,后面一般帶of(in)短語(yǔ)來(lái)說(shuō)明比較的范圍.最高級(jí)的限定范圍一般用of，among在...之中;在...中間，in等介詞短語(yǔ)；Johnisthetallestofthethreebrother.Thisisthecoldestdayintenyears.Maryisthemostintelligent（有才智的;聰明的;明智的;有理性的）personI’veevermet.superlativedegree最高級(jí)
