evotion.Constancymakessuccessacertainty.Incontrast,inconstancyoftenresultsinfailure.Ifwestudydayafterday,thereisnothingthatcannotbeachieved.Weshouldrememberaworthyproverb“Constantdroppingofwaterwearsawayastone.”Besides,thereisanotherrulethatcontributestoone’saccomplishments,thatis,punctuality.Thehabitofkeepingregularhoursisofextremeimportancetosuccessfullearning.Workwhileyouwork;playwhileyouplay.Everymanwillcertainlybecomestrongandwiseifhedoesso.(10)WhatIHaveLivedforThreepassions,simplebutoverwhelminglystrong,havegovernedmylife:thelongingforlove,thesearchforknowledge,andunbearablepityforthesufferingofmankind.Thesepassions,likegreatwinds,haveblownmehitherandthither,inawaywardcourse,overadeepoceanofanguish,reachingtothevergeofdespair.
