1、短文改錯第一章 高考短文改錯概說第一節(jié) 高考短文改錯的題型特點一、命題原則 高考短文改錯題的目的在于測試考生判斷、發(fā)現、糾正語篇中語言錯誤的能力,以考查考生在語篇綜合運用英語的準確性。它往往選用一篇120個詞左右、內容鮮活、語言地道、通俗易懂的短文,供考生在閱讀中判斷、糾錯,從而檢測學生綜合運用英語的準確性。命題的總原則是整篇理解、分行解題。設錯的特點可用四個字來概括:對、錯、加、刪。解題要求可用四句話來歸納,即正確劃,錯詞更正,缺詞添加,多詞刪除。四種要求都有相應的規(guī)范符號和格式,不可用錯和混淆。1二、題材特點以記敘文為主,題材和語言都符合高中學生的實際;句子結構比較簡單,以簡單句為主。學生

5、ur birthday.(2001北京春)五、錯誤類型分析(一)漏詞句中漏掉了必不可少的詞語,導致句子結構和意義不完整,這些詞多為功能詞,如系動詞be、冠詞、物主代詞、介詞及不定式符號“to”等。如:例1 Its famous mountain with all kinds of plants andanimals.(NMET2002)析:可數名詞表泛指,前面要加不定冠詞,故在famous前加a。例2 I was happy with any program but the others spent a lot time arguing.(NMET 1999)析:a lot 加 of 才能接名
6、詞,故在time前加of。例3 The day before the speech contest English teacher talked to me.(NMET 2000)析:可數名詞前應有限定詞修飾。根據文意應為“我的英語老師”,故在English前加my。析:time本為不可數名詞,但當它表示“一段時間”時,前面要加不定冠詞a,故在time前加a。6例1 Suddenly, I caught a sight of my English teacher in the crowd.(NMET 2000)例5 My parents love me dearly of course and
7、 will do what they can make sure that I get a good education.(NMET 2001)析:本句中can后省掉了與前面相同的實義動詞do,后面的不定式to make 作狀語,故應在make前加to。(二)多詞多詞錯誤是指受漢語的干擾和影響,而出現漢語表達方式,造成冗言,這些詞多為冠詞、介詞、代詞或連接詞等。如:析:catch sight of為固定詞組,意為“看到”,故將不定詞a去掉。7析:此句是簡單句,不含有定語從句,in other places 是句子的地點狀語,故應將where去掉。例2 But we dont seem to g

(NMET 2001)析:去掉about。例3 I hope that both you two could come and visit us some timesoon.(NMET 1995) 析:句中both與two并用,屬意義重復。表示“你們”倆可以說you two或you both.故應將both去掉。例4 Ill spend all the whole weekend reading and preparing for it.(NMET 2000春)析:all 與whole連用,造成語義重復,故將all去掉。
9、例5 In some places you may borrow as many books as you want, in other places where you are limited to a certain number, of which some may be novels.(NMET 1994) 8析:句中my picture and the prize 為并列主語,謂語動詞 應用復數形式,故將is 改為are 。 (三)錯詞錯詞原因很多,歸納起來,有以下幾個方面:1、時態(tài)、語態(tài)誤用例1 The time passes quickly.(NMET 2002)析:原文講的是上
10、周游覽峨眉山,故將passes改為passed。例2 Books must be keep for four weeks.(NMET 1994)析:根據句意,該句為被動語態(tài),故將keep改為kept。2、非謂語動詞誤用例 I was often a little tired after a days work and watch TV demands very little effort.(NMET 2002)析:動詞原形不用作主語,故將watch 改為watching。3、主謂是否一致主語和代詞是否一致。例1 Now my picture and the prize is hanging i
11、n the library。(NMET 2000) 9.析:此句中含一個感嘆句作told的賓語, 故應將that 改為what才正確。例2 The Smiths did his best to make me feel at home (NMET1996).析:句子的主語為復數(the Smiths=史密斯夫婦或史密斯一家人),與之相應的人稱代詞his應改為their.4、形容詞和副詞(比較等級)的誤用例1 As a result, people in the modern world generally live much more longer than people in the pas

41、涉及到的語言測試點有:動詞時態(tài)2個,名詞復數1個,冠詞1個,介詞1個,代詞3個,非謂語動詞1個。由此可見,善于進行語法分析是做好短文改錯題的關鍵。二、短文改錯題思路點撥(一)注意語篇環(huán)境,側重語法分析首先,要認真閱讀全文,弄懂文意,了解文章所創(chuàng)設的語言環(huán)境,為正確判斷創(chuàng)造條件。做題時,要避免“只見樹木,不見森林”的現象。眼光不能只盯在單句上,而是要跨越句子層次,從整體的角度,從語篇的角度來分析考慮問題。如第80、84題,如果眼光只局限于當前 句,恐怕就很難發(fā)現錯誤。做題思考的切入點應放在語法分析上。(二)注意若干一致性問題一致性問題也是短文改錯題常見的測試點。尤其要注意平行和并列結構。如200
42、3年的短文改錯題,從全局考慮,我們就可以發(fā)現許多一致性問題。80題put down與平行結構followed的時態(tài)不一致; 28第84題reads與平行結構liked的時態(tài)不一致;第85題Their word were a great主謂不一致等。在做題的過程中,主要查看的一致關系包括主謂是否一致,代詞與指代物是否一致,比較對象和范圍是否一致,時態(tài)是否呼應,邏輯和語篇結構是否一致等。如:Between the two buildings stand a hospital.分析:stand改為stands。此句為倒裝句。主語應為hospital,而非buildings。又如:Both of hi
43、s parents were he sent for a doctor to see him.分析:him改為them。父母親是兩人,應用them來代。(三)注意詞的形式的誤用動詞要查看時態(tài)、語態(tài)、非謂語形式是否誤用;名詞查看單復數是否誤用;冠詞要查看是否漏掉或誤用;介詞要查看搭配是否誤用;形容詞、副詞要查看三級及相互之間是否誤用。如81題enjoy后面誤用了動詞原形,85題為名詞復數誤用單數。29又如:She looked angrily at the news on the radio.分析:angrily改為angry?!癮t the news”相當于“on hearing the ne
44、ws”,故looked為連系動詞,后面要求接形容詞。再如:A18-meter-long bridge will be built here. 分析:A改為A?!?8”的英語讀音以元音開頭。(四)注意從(分)句的連接是否恰當要注意那些表示因果、讓步、遞進、轉折、并列等關系的連接詞使用是否恰當,是否有遺漏或誤用現象。如:He knows a lot about radio, and he is young.分析:and改為though。后面意義轉折。(五)注意固定搭配、行文邏輯及一般常識固定搭配,只要平時熟記,改出來應該是不會難的。例如:第82題,如果你知道express oneself 這一固定
45、搭配。改出來應該是不成問題的。邏輯方面的錯誤,應該從語境的角度來考慮。如:He hardly did physical exercise, so he became as strongas a horse.分析:so改為but。既然幾乎不進行體育鍛煉,又怎么會強壯如牛呢?前后矛盾。30又如:Its two years since his husband died.分析:his 改為her?!八痹趺磿小癶usband”呢?(六)注意四個不改單詞拼寫不改;大小寫不改;詞序錯誤不改(應從錯詞或少詞方面去考慮);標點符號不改。(七)注意解題規(guī)范要嚴格按照示范用規(guī)定的符號改錯,切勿離開文后的10道橫
46、線在原文的字里行間勾勾劃劃、涂涂改改。要記住,“”、“”、“”、“”、分別代表正確無誤、錯詞糾正、缺詞填補、多詞刪除。切忌用文字說明或用箭頭表示。如以下做法是錯誤的,在高考中是要扣分的:1Many people are like sports all over the world. 去掉are2Therefore, there are still some countries where people have shorter lives. But how sleep do we actually need? 在sleep前加much31三、短文改錯解題步驟(一)通讀全文,確認時態(tài)動詞是語句的核心,也是描述事物的主要手段。一篇短文的基本時態(tài)若確定,其它時態(tài)、語態(tài)等動詞的相關形式也就有章可循、有法可依了。(二)整句理解,分行搜索短文改錯的命題形式是在文章的后面劃出標有題號的10行橫線供考生作答。10行的劃線與句子的始末并非一致。也就說,短文改錯是以句為閱讀單位,以行為解題單位。這就要求考生在解題時按句子整體理解上下文,同時又在每一行仔細搜索,判斷正誤。(三)復讀檢查,前后貫通將所改答案放入文中通讀一遍,依靠平時積累的詞
48、語、語法和慣用語用法知識及語感,檢測修改后的文章看是否通達順暢。復讀過程中,既要重視詞語、句子的字面含義,又要弄清文字段落內在的含義和邏輯關系,以及結構的完整、規(guī)范,如發(fā)現語句不通或不合邏輯,則應重新修改。32四、短文改錯訓練方法短文改錯題一直是高考全卷中難度較大的(難度系數在左右)。有些考生對一些錯誤怎么也找不出來,但一經指出,便恍然大悟。這主要是平時閱讀少,練習不到位,找不到語感的緣故。應試前的訓練是至關重要的。(一)堅持從語篇入手,先入為主,養(yǎng)成接受正確輸入信息的思維習慣。平時我們要多讀英語文章,增強語感;要多做練習,強化題型訓練。大量語言材料的輸入會形成正面積累。積累豐厚了,我們運用語
49、言的準確性和辨別語言的敏感性就提高了,辯誤識錯的能力必然會“水漲船高”。(二)加強英語語言知識的基礎訓練這些訓練包括閱讀理解訓練、語法知識、慣用法知識、句法結構、固定搭配的訓練,單句翻譯、單句改錯的訓練,同學之間互批互改作業(yè)的訓練等,這些都是構筑短文技能的基礎和鋪墊。33第二章 單句改錯訓練研究一下近幾年的高考短文改錯題,不難發(fā)現其設錯方式比較固定:正確為1個,多詞或缺詞共計3個,錯詞為6個,其比例為1:3:6。下面就這三種錯誤類型進行單句改錯練習。第一節(jié) 多詞的7種情形一、多冠詞1.
