1、外研社初三上冊MODULE 11 TEACHING PLANContent:Module11population Junior 3, New standard English題材內(nèi)容本模塊以“人口”為話題,涉及人口過剩以及由此而產(chǎn)生的相關(guān)后果。通過閱讀,希望能夠喚起學(xué)生們的憂患意識,并培養(yǎng)他們在實際生活中提出問題、分析問題、解決問題的能力。通過本模塊的學(xué)習(xí),學(xué)生學(xué)習(xí)正確使用冠詞,并能夠準(zhǔn)確讀出大數(shù)字。為學(xué)生提供了充足的語言實際運用的機會。學(xué)生可以圍繞人口這一話題進行大量的聽、說、讀、寫方面的語言實踐活動,促使學(xué)生更有意識地自覺學(xué)習(xí)英語。語法難點是正確使用冠詞。教學(xué)中教師應(yīng)隨時隨地靈活利用各種素

2、材組織教學(xué)過程和內(nèi)容。充分調(diào)動學(xué)生的積極性。教學(xué)目標(biāo)語言知識:語音能夠辨認(rèn)并表述大數(shù)字。詞匯population , crowd , increase , smoke , increasing , minute , percent , appointment , crime , flat , law , rubbish , suburb , tax , vision , add , fault , police , cure 詞組along with, thanks to, in the distance, close down, add to, birth rate 語法能夠正確使用冠詞、準(zhǔn)

3、確讀出大數(shù)字。功能能夠理解并表述大數(shù)字;正確使用冠詞。話題以“人口”為話題。語言技能:聽能聽懂對話;聽辨、寫出大數(shù)字。說能夠用大數(shù)字談?wù)撊丝趩栴}。讀能夠讀懂涉及人口問題的文章,掌握文章大意。寫能夠?qū)懗鏊嬖诘膯栴},提出解決問題的建議。演示與表達能夠結(jié)合圖表介紹對某一地區(qū)人口的調(diào)查與研究。3)學(xué)習(xí)策略學(xué)習(xí)一定程度形成自主學(xué)習(xí),有效交際、信息處理、英語思維能力。認(rèn)知聯(lián)系,歸納,推測等技能。學(xué)習(xí)查詞典,閱讀報紙,提高自學(xué)能力。調(diào)控從同伴處得到反饋,對自己在敘述及作文中的錯誤進行修改交際學(xué)習(xí)運用恰當(dāng)詞語介紹自己的理想假期。資源通過閱讀報紙等其他資源獲取更多簡單英語的人口過剩以及由此而產(chǎn)生的相關(guān)后果。自

4、學(xué)策略能夠根據(jù)自己的情況預(yù)習(xí)教材并進行拓展。合作學(xué)習(xí)策略能夠根據(jù)小組內(nèi)同學(xué)的特長分工合作,共同完成學(xué)習(xí)任務(wù)。注意學(xué)習(xí)策略共享. 4)文化意識:文化意識通過了解發(fā)展中國家所面臨的問題,以及由此而產(chǎn)生的連帶后果,喚起學(xué)生們的憂患意識,并引發(fā)他們深思。5)任務(wù):能夠通過小組合作,制作圖表。教學(xué)重點和難點 重點:1通過談?wù)撊丝谟?xùn)練學(xué)生的聽、說、讀、寫能力,學(xué)習(xí)正確使用冠詞,并能夠準(zhǔn)確讀出大數(shù)字。難點:正確使用冠詞,并能夠準(zhǔn)確讀出大數(shù)字。教學(xué)方法基于課程改革的理念及“第二語言習(xí)得論”,培養(yǎng)實現(xiàn)人的可持續(xù)發(fā)展和人的主體精神的自我完善和發(fā)展所必需的能力和素質(zhì),運用任務(wù)型教學(xué)途徑,圍繞核心任務(wù),設(shè)定小任務(wù),開

5、展和諧愉悅的課堂活動,強調(diào)興趣第一的原則,初步設(shè)計“PTP”自主學(xué)習(xí)立體模式:pre-tasktask-cyclepost-task。教材處理核心任務(wù):能夠運用所學(xué)句型結(jié)構(gòu)談?wù)撊丝趩栴}。三個環(huán)節(jié)如下:pre-task:學(xué)生聯(lián)系生活實際,激活背景知識。task cycle:通過整個模塊的聽說讀寫的訓(xùn)練,學(xué)習(xí)正確使用冠詞,并能夠準(zhǔn)確讀出大數(shù)字,為完成任務(wù)做好鋪墊post-task:達成任務(wù),展示成果,反饋學(xué)習(xí)情況教材安排根據(jù)學(xué)生學(xué)習(xí)英語的特點和規(guī)律,我們把本模塊劃分為4課時:Period 1: Vocabulary and Listening &Pronunciation and Speaking

10、h fitness. Ask students to speak out as many as they can.Step two: Talk about how to keep healthy.Ask students to speak out as much as they can. Part II: Lead in: Task: Learn something about holiday.Directions:Step one: Talk about some pictures about population problems.Step two: Introduce the new w

11、ords.Part III: ListeningTask 1: Listen and choose the best answer. Directions:Step one: Ask the Ss to read through the questions in activities 2 on page 88 so they know what to listen for.Step two: Play the recording while they just listen and focus on the questions.Step three: Play the recording ag

Step four: Play the recording and have them check their answer with a partnerStep five: Call back the answer from the whole class.Task 2: Ss listen to the dialogue and complete the table. Directions:Step one: Give them the table and make sure the Ss underst

13、and them all.Step two: Play the recording and have them listen to the recording and focus on the sentence first time through.Step three: Play the recording again and have them get the answers, then check with a partner.Step four: Then Call back the answers from the whole class.
