Ask Ss to try

5、 to read these words.設計意圖:圖片教學法是呈現(xiàn)新知識最簡單有效的方法之一,學生通過圖片, 能更直觀地理解新單詞的含義。此環(huán)節(jié)重點在新單詞及詞組的意思和發(fā)音上,所以要盡量讓更多的學生張口說,必要的機械操練是必不可少的。Step 3: While-readingTask 1 Read the article aloud after the recorder.教師播放對話視頻,播放一句,暫停一次,學生觀看視頻并大聲跟讀課文。設計意圖:跟著視頻播放器大聲朗讀課文可以加深對文章的理解,并且對于學 生準確的發(fā)音以及培養(yǎng)他們的語感有重要的作用。Task 2 Read the lesso

8、.海倫凱勒,著名的作家和教育家,昨天去世了,享年88歲。writer名詞,“作家,是動詞write的名詞形式。educator名詞,“教育家”,其動 詞為educate教育at the age of在歲時。相當于when sb.+be+歲。.When she was nieen months old, Helen fell ill.當海倫十九個月大的時候,她生病了。fall ill生病。同類用法的還有:fall asleep入睡。.She had a high fever that made her blind and deaf,她發(fā)高燒,并使她失去了視力 和聽力。句子結構:本句是由that引

9、導的定語從句。haveafever發(fā)燒。.Before her illness, Helen was a bright and happy girl.在她生病之前,海倫是一個開朗快樂的女孩。illness名詞,“病”;是由形容詞川 + ness構成的名詞。同樣的詞還有: kindness, goodness, business, happiness 等。.After she lost her ability to see and hear, she became difficult and wild.在失去了聽力和視力后,她變得難以相處,脾氣暴躁。句子結構:本句是由after引導的時間狀語從句

10、。ability名詞,“能力.Anne was filled with pride.安妮彳艮驕傲。be filled with充滿了,相當于 be full of.o.As Helen grew older, she made a lot of progress and learned to read.隨著海倫不 斷成長,她取得了很大的進步并學習閱讀。句子結構:本句是由as引導的時間狀語從句。make progress取得進步。.She did her best to help others in the munity who were deaf or blind.她盡她最大的 努力去幫助社區(qū)
