18、ols? Carlos: Im working as a tutor in a learning center for kids. W: Interesting. What kinds of things do the kids do there? C: They work on subjects they need help in, uh, mainly math and English. W: Is your job hard? C: No, not at all. The kids work on computers most of the time. We have to help t

19、hem get started and when they run into problems. W: Do you enjoy it? C: Oh, yes. Working with kids is so much more fun than working with adults. And I get to choose my own hours. Early Tuesday morning in California, two police officers who were pursuing a car thief down Hollywood Boulevard in a high-speed chase were rescued by the thief. During the chase, the officers car overturned and fell into a shal

45、low river. The officers couldnt get out of the car, which was rapidly filling up with water. The thief went back to the scene of the accident and helped rescue the officers.
