1、What is friendship? Friendship is a relationship of mutual affection between two or more people. It is a stronger form of interpersonal bond than an association. -JuneThe types of friendship Best friend (or close friend)死黨死黨 Best friends share extremely strong interpersonal ties with each other. 2、 term best friends forever, often abbreviated to BFF, is a close friendship typical of teenagers and young people. Blood brother or sister血誓之友血誓之友 This term can either refer to people related by birth or to friends who swear loyalty by mixing their blood together. Blood brother can refer to one of t

3、wo things: a male related by birth, or two or more men not related by birth who have sworn loyalty to each other. This is in modern times usually done in a ceremony, known as a blood oath, where having each person make a small cut, usually on a finger, hand or the forearm, and then the two cuts are

4、pressed together and bound, the idea being that each persons blood now flows in the other participants veins. In modern times, some gangs have also been rumored to make blood pacts. Frienemy 腹黑友腹黑友 A portmanteau of the words friend and enemy, the term frenemy refers to either an enemy disguised as a

5、 friend (a proverbial wolf in sheeps clothing ) or a person who is both a friend and a rival. Comradeship may arise in time of war, or w

6、hen people have a mutual enemy or even a common goal, in circumstances where ordinary friendships might not have formed. This antiquated American term was used during the 19th and 20th centuries to denote two women who lived together in the same household independent of male support. These relations

7、hips were not necessarily sexual. The term was used to quell fears of lesbians after the First World War. The fact of relatively formalized romantic friendships between women predates the term “Boston marriage” and there is a long record of it in England and other European countries. The term “Bosto

8、n marriage” was coined by Henry James in The Bostonians (1886), a novel involving a long-term co-habiting relationship between two unmarried women, “new women”.
