1、Unit2 CloningReading: CLONING: WHERE IS IT LEADING US? 教學設(shè)計西安市第十九中學張媚一、教材分析本單元以Cloning為話題，旨在通過單元教學，使學生了解克隆技術(shù)的優(yōu) 缺點，學會表達和支持個人觀點，能用所學的有關(guān)Cloning的詞匯去表述自己對 這一新技術(shù)的觀點和看法。”閱讀" （Reading）部分提供的材料 CLONING: WHERE IS IT LEADING US?是一篇介紹克隆技術(shù)的說明文，具體介紹了植物與動物克隆的區(qū)別，多利羊 的誕生與死亡及由此引發(fā)的爭論。幫助學生進一步認識克隆的意義在于解決醫(yī)學 上的難題，為人類服

2、務。從話題內(nèi)容上分析，Warming Up與Reading相一致,從教材份量來說，可將 Warming Up和Reading整合在一起，設(shè)計成一節(jié)任務型 “閱讀課（精讀課）”。二、學情分析我所帶的兩個班級的學生英語基礎(chǔ)一般，平時較少閱讀科學題材的文章，知識面相對狹窄，閱讀理解這篇文章還是有一定難度。 但學生的好奇心和學習接受 能力比較強，可以布置學生課前上網(wǎng)或去圖書館找出一些有關(guān)克隆的資料，并與多媒體相結(jié)合簡單介紹克隆及克隆技術(shù)的一些知識，讓學生有了一定的知識準備 以利于很好的理解課文。三、設(shè)計理念及教學目標這節(jié)課的主要目的是培養(yǎng)學生跳讀和細讀的閱讀技巧， 使學生學會準確分析 閱讀問題，懂得從

3、文章中找到關(guān)鍵句子攝取必要的信息，找出正確的答案。我運 用多媒體和學生搜索材料主動參與學習相結(jié)合， 設(shè)計了表格、問答題、判斷題和 信息整理題。這不僅提高學生的閱讀技巧，也教會學生怎樣處理不同的閱讀問題。四.教學目標 Teaching goals1.
