1、Unit2 CloningReading: CLONING: WHERE IS IT LEADING US? 教學(xué)設(shè)計(jì)西安市第十九中學(xué)張媚一、教材分析本單元以Cloning為話題,旨在通過(guò)單元教學(xué),使學(xué)生了解克隆技術(shù)的優(yōu) 缺點(diǎn),學(xué)會(huì)表達(dá)和支持個(gè)人觀點(diǎn),能用所學(xué)的有關(guān)Cloning的詞匯去表述自己對(duì) 這一新技術(shù)的觀點(diǎn)和看法?!遍喿x" (Reading)部分提供的材料 CLONING: WHERE IS IT LEADING US?是一篇介紹克隆技術(shù)的說(shuō)明文,具體介紹了植物與動(dòng)物克隆的區(qū)別,多利羊 的誕生與死亡及由此引發(fā)的爭(zhēng)論。幫助學(xué)生進(jìn)一步認(rèn)識(shí)克隆的意義在于解決醫(yī)學(xué) 上的難題,為人類(lèi)服

2、務(wù)。從話題內(nèi)容上分析,Warming Up與Reading相一致,從教材份量來(lái)說(shuō),可將 Warming Up和Reading整合在一起,設(shè)計(jì)成一節(jié)任務(wù)型 “閱讀課(精讀課)”。二、學(xué)情分析我所帶的兩個(gè)班級(jí)的學(xué)生英語(yǔ)基礎(chǔ)一般,平時(shí)較少閱讀科學(xué)題材的文章,知識(shí)面相對(duì)狹窄,閱讀理解這篇文章還是有一定難度。 但學(xué)生的好奇心和學(xué)習(xí)接受 能力比較強(qiáng),可以布置學(xué)生課前上網(wǎng)或去圖書(shū)館找出一些有關(guān)克隆的資料,并與多媒體相結(jié)合簡(jiǎn)單介紹克隆及克隆技術(shù)的一些知識(shí),讓學(xué)生有了一定的知識(shí)準(zhǔn)備 以利于很好的理解課文。三、設(shè)計(jì)理念及教學(xué)目標(biāo)這節(jié)課的主要目的是培養(yǎng)學(xué)生跳讀和細(xì)讀的閱讀技巧, 使學(xué)生學(xué)會(huì)準(zhǔn)確分析 閱讀問(wèn)題,懂得從

3、文章中找到關(guān)鍵句子攝取必要的信息,找出正確的答案。我運(yùn) 用多媒體和學(xué)生搜索材料主動(dòng)參與學(xué)習(xí)相結(jié)合, 設(shè)計(jì)了表格、問(wèn)答題、判斷題和 信息整理題。這不僅提高學(xué)生的閱讀技巧,也教會(huì)學(xué)生怎樣處理不同的閱讀問(wèn)題。四.教學(xué)目標(biāo) Teaching goals1.
