8、second (32nd) thirty-three-thirty-third (33rd)由基數(shù)詞變?yōu)樾驍?shù)詞，下面的口訣可以幫助同學們有效記憶。一、二、三，單獨記；八去t，九除e，ve要用f替，整十基數(shù)變序數(shù)，先把ty變成tie；要是遇到兩位數(shù)，十位基數(shù)個位序。在使用序數(shù)詞，需要注意以下幾點：（1）序數(shù)詞在使用時，一般加上定冠詞the。 如：the first book / the second floor/ the third floor/ the fourth day（2）序數(shù)詞之前可以使用形容詞性物主代詞，但是不能和定冠詞連用。如：This is his first time to p

9、lay football. He is the first student to own a computer in his town.（3）序數(shù)詞的前面可以加上不定冠詞a/ an， 表示“再一”，“又一”。如：Dont worry, you can have a second try. He needs a third one.（4）請注意編號的表示方法。如：Lesson 1= the first lesson Group 2= the second group Team 3= the third team【語言知識點】1. Its also Su Yangs birthday.also和t

10、oo的意思差不多，都表示“也”。also多放在主要動詞前面，或系動詞be的后面，有時也可以放在其它位置。too多用于句尾。注意：在否定句中，不能用too，需要用either。如： I am also a student.= I am a student, too. 我也是一名學生。 She likes running, too= She also likes running. 她也喜歡跑步。We dont like eating grapes, either. 我們也不喜歡吃葡萄。2. Its on the eleventh of May.用序數(shù)詞表示日期的時候，需要注意使用正確的介詞，并需要

11、關注日期的讀法。如：Spring Festival is in January or February. 春節(jié)在一月或者二月。(表示一段時間)Halloween is on October 31st. 萬圣節(jié)在10月31日。（表示在某一天）the thirty-first of October= October the thirsty-first 10月31日the tenth of September= September the tenth 9月10日3. We have a great time. 我們玩得很開心。have a good time= have a great time= have a wonderful time= have a lot of fun= be happy都可以表示為“玩得開心，過得愉快”，如：We have a good time playing games. = We have a l

People in the West usually open their presents as soon as they receive them.在接受禮物時，中國人和西方人的反應截然不同。 在中國，人們接受禮物時往往并不喜形于色，且不當面打開禮品，認為這樣做非常不禮貌，讓人感到對所接受的禮物過分在意。 而在西方，人們在接受禮物時，想到的首先是感謝。因此，為了表示謝意，他們往往會當面小心地打開禮物，大呼小叫地稱贊一番，激動時還擁抱你一下，與你同時分享快樂。6. Bobby is a hero in a play

15、. Bobby在一出戲里扮演一個英雄。在英語中，不少單詞是以o結尾的。單詞以o結尾，變復數(shù)有兩種變化方法，一部分加s，一部分加es。一般來說，以o結尾，表示有生命的物體加es。下面一個小口訣幫助同學們巧記這些詞。一個Negro（黑人）,種了potato（土豆）,喜歡tomato（番茄）,愛吃mango（芒果）,是個hero（英雄）。7. Thats easy for me.那對我來說很容易了。Sth. is easy for sb.某事對于某人來說很容易了。如：The Maths homework is easy for me. 數(shù)學作業(yè)對我來說太簡單了。類似的結構： be bad for s

16、b. 對某人有害 be good for sb. 對某人有益8. Bobby has the answers. Bobby有答案了。answer既可以作名詞也可以作動詞。（1）名詞 一個答案 an answer 的答案 the answer to （2）動詞 回復，答復 回答問題answer the question 接電話 answer the call9. What a play! 什么情況！ What a play！不同的語境，意思不一樣。在此cartoon time中，當Bobby看到從樓里走出一只肥貓時，讓他大吃一驚，也非常失望，所以他說了句What a play！表示驚訝的意思，意

17、為“什么情況”。 如果我們對某人的演出表示贊許的話，也可以說What a play! 意為“多棒的演出?。　?，play在此是名詞，意為“戲劇”。類似的句型有：What a pity! 真可憐！10. They start fighting. 他們開始打了起來。 start doing sth 意為“開始做某事”。表示開始某一動作時，start to do與start doing所表達的意思相同。但start doing多用于表示開始一項較長時間或經常性的活動，如：He starts playing piano. 他開始學習鋼琴。下列情況下常接不定式，不接動名詞（1）主語是無生命的事物，而不是人
