Teach“capital, dream”1. Show students some pictures of the landmark buildings and
7、 the places of interest in different countries.T: Here are some beautiful pictures. They are some of the most famous places in the world. Where are they? Do you know? Look at this mountain. What is its name?S: Its Mount Fuji.T: Which country is it in?S: Japan.Write the word “Japan” on the blackboard
8、 and lead students to read it. Make sure students can read it correctly.2. Use the same way to present the other landmark buildings and capitals. During the presentation students are allowed to express the names of these pictures in Chinese.3. Guide students to finish the exercise in Part A on page7
9、.1. T: Do you know the capitals of the countries in Part A? Show them some maps of the capital cities of different countries. T: What city is the capital of the USA?Guide students to the following answer: the capital of the USA is Washington DC. Deal with the other information by using the same ques
10、tion-answer way.2. Guide students to finish the exercise in PPT.1. The teacher asks: If you have enough money and time, which country would you like to visit? Why? Do you want to live in this country?2. Show them some more different symbolic buildings in different countries.3. Lead them to make a di
