1、天子山Mt.TianziDear friends, good morning. Welcome you to Wulingyuan for sightseeing. Very pleased to be your tour guide. We are going to visit the Nature Reserve of Mt.Tianzi, one of the scenic highlights in the Scenic Area of Wulingyuan, acclaimed asthe Gem of Forests and Peaks.Enjoying a favorable c

2、limate, Mt.Tianzi is picturesque in scenery, overlooking mountains and valleys in the distance. And the landform you are watching is called peculiar quartzose sandstone landform As demonstrated by science, three hundred and eighty million years ago, as the result of lash by sea waves, quartzose sand

3、stone deposited over 500m thick on the sea floor. Later, this place became dry land after the strong rise by the new structure movement. When the land surface rose, with the action of flowing water, some small sands and stones were washed away. Besides, rocks collapsed under the action of gravity, a

4、nd were washed slowly by rainfalls and streams. All these factors have made Zhangjiajie a rocky and woody landform of peculiar quartzose sandstone, which is composed of a series of pillars and peaks, square mountains and valleys.Seeing this marvelous scenery, I believe youre all amazed at this natur

5、es masterpiece. So, lets go hiking in Mt.Tianzi and have a thrilling experience of An Enlarged Bonsai, A Minimized Shangri-La and The Gem of Peaks and Forests.Okay, here we are at Shentangwan,the most mysterious spot in the scenic area of Wulingyuan. Why? Becase Shentangwan has nine levels of rock.

6、Someone once ventured into the valley only to return when he was absolutely horrified on the fourth level of approximately 150meters deep, hearing howling winds accompanied by mournful shrills from the valley enshrouded in total darkness. In 1968, some PLA soldiers planed to cull glossy ganoderma an

7、d other rare medicinal herbs in the valley. Bearing guns and slings, they went down the valley. Again, they were forced back when they reached the sixth level. Even seen from there, the valley looked horrible and bottomless. They also saw with telescopes giant boas and other wild beasts in the valle

8、y. Since then, Shentangwan has become a world of mysteries and no man has set foot in it.Now here is “the Terrace for Mustering Officers”where, according to a legend, the Son of Heaven used to drill his mounted, infantry and navy soldiers. You may imagine how great the Son of Heaven was, mustering h

9、is officers and giving orders. Have a close look neat in its formation. Do they look like soldiers, dignified and energetic, going on an expedition?In front of us is the He Long Park, located in Yunqingyan east of Shijiayan. Planned in 1985. The park is the only cultural site on a big scale in Wulin

10、gyuan. The statue stands 6.5m high, weighing up to nine tons. It is the largest and heaviest of all the statues of the great people of China in the past hundred year.Just a stones throw from the back of the statue stands the Overlook of Yunqingyan where you can feast your eyes on the beautiful scene

11、ry of the Stone Forest of the West Sea. The West Sea refers figuratively to a sea of rocky mountains. Coming in sight row upon row of peaks, lofty and spectacular, stretching for miles.Please look ahead. Not far away, charming peaks rising dramatically in uneven clusters. This isthe Peak of the Roya

12、l Writing Brush, one of the ten tourism highlights in Wulinyuan. After his shameful defeat, he felt ashamed to see these writing brushes. Acting on the spur of the moment, he angrily tossed the writing brushes into the valley. The moment the brushes landed, they were changed into a peak miraculously

With deep affection, she is now scattering flowers across the human society, hence stylin

16、g herselfthe Fairy maiden Presenting Flowers.The scenery of Mt.Tianzi holds a fascination for tourists and the people here are simple and honest. Mt.Tianzi has more scenic sights to offer than the eye can take in and has too many stories to tell. Small wonder people make comments on the mountain to the effect that Mt.Tianzi is beyond explora
