1、 most people who bother with the matter at all would admit that the english language is in a bad way, but it is generally assumed that we cannot by conscious action do anything about it.大多數(shù)為英語(yǔ)而煩心的人都會(huì)承認(rèn),英語(yǔ)的處境不佳,并且我們不能通過(guò)有意識(shí)的行動(dòng)而使這種情形有所改觀。our civilization is decadent and our language-so the argument run
