Unit4 At the farm B . Lets learnDraw and say 教學(xué)設(shè)計(jì)一、教材分析:本單元圍繞“At the farm”這一題材展開,學(xué)習(xí)農(nóng)場(chǎng)里的蔬菜和動(dòng)物,以及單、復(fù)數(shù)的使用習(xí)慣。本課時(shí)是本單元的第五課時(shí)詞匯教學(xué)課。重點(diǎn)學(xué)習(xí)的單詞是cow, hen, horse和sheep,還有它們的復(fù)數(shù)形式變化cow cows, hen hens, horse horses和sheep sheep,并能簡(jiǎn)單地描述動(dòng)物的特征,如:These are sheep. Wow! Theyre so cute!學(xué)生能夠理解名詞的單復(fù)數(shù)變化,并能正確地運(yùn)用。尤其要注意sheep sheep這個(gè)單詞的復(fù)數(shù)形式比較特別,本課時(shí)不打算深入探討名詞的單復(fù)數(shù)變化規(guī)律,只要求學(xué)生記住就行了。因此,在授課的過(guò)程中,運(yùn)用以舊帶新的方法自然引出新課內(nèi)容,讓學(xué)生新舊結(jié)合、不斷積累,將所學(xué)的語(yǔ)言用于生活。二、學(xué)情分析:學(xué)生從三年級(jí)開始學(xué)習(xí)PEP英語(yǔ),已經(jīng)具備了一定的口語(yǔ)表達(dá)能力。學(xué)生在觀察能力、思維能力、語(yǔ)言表達(dá)能力方面都有了較好的提高,有著強(qiáng)烈的好奇心與動(dòng)手操作的能力。他們喜歡在自己的探索中獲取知識(shí),喜歡在玩中學(xué),喜歡在做中學(xué),喜歡在想中學(xué),喜歡在用中學(xué)。三、Teaching ContentUnit4 At the farm B . Step 2、 ReviewShow the vegetables on Old Macdonalds farm and ask the students to answer what they can see on the farm.T: What are these? S:These are carrots.T: How to spell it? S:c-a-r-r-o-t-s.T: What are these? S:These are tomatoes.T: How to spell it? S:t-o-m-a-t-o-e-s.Step 3、 PresentationBLets learnT continue the free talk to lead in: Look at Mr. Macdonalds farm. Besides the vegetables, what else are there on the farm?1. Teach “cow-cows”(1) T: (Show a picture of cow and play the voice of a cow) Whats this?Ss: (Ss can answer it both in Chinese and English.) This is a cow.T will show the pronunciation of cow , and ask Ss to read after T.Then T will write the word “cow” on the blackboard with the whole class ,and ask one student to write it on the screen.(2) T: (Show a picture of two cows) Look here, can you tell me how many cows?Ss: Two cows.Then show a picture of three, four cows so as to let the Ss drill the sentence “these are cows”.Write the word “cows” on the blackboard and pick some student to read it .(3) T: (Point to the cows) What are these ? Ss: These are cows.T: (Present the sentences and lead) Please follow me. What are these ? These are cows.Ss: What are these ? These are cows.2. Teach the words” hen- hens, horse-horses, sheep- sheep” by the same way as “cow-cows”.3. Drill the wordsA game: Open your mouth, frog.T introduces the rules of the game: When the frog opens its mouth, Ss should stand up and say the word quickly. T: Look at the frog and say the word. Lets see whos the first one, ok?Ss: Ok.Ss: cow-cows, hen-hens, horse-horses, sheep- sheep.Step 4、Consolidation Extension1. Dice gameLet some students go to the blackboard and point the dice, then ask the question, the others answer it.S1: Whats this?Ss: This is a hen.S2: What are these?Ss: These are cows.2、Division gameT: Now, look here, there are two circles on the screen. You can put the words into the different circle. Can you get it? Ask several Ss to go to the blackboard and put the words into the right circle, then read the sentence loudly.S1: This is a hen.S2: These are green beans.S3: These are horses.3、Guessing gameT shows the picture of “my farm” slowly, and let the students guess.T: What are these?
