Unit 3 Im more outgoing than my sister. Section A 1 (1a-1c)一、教學(xué)目標(biāo): 1. 語言知識目標(biāo):1) 能掌握以下單詞:outgoing, better, loudly, quietly, hard-working 能掌握以下句型: Tina is taller than Tara. Sam has longer hair than Tom.2) 能掌握以下語法: 形容詞或副詞比較級形式的構(gòu)成。 表示兩者進(jìn)行比較的句式結(jié)構(gòu)。2. 情感態(tài)度價(jià)值觀目標(biāo): 能對人物的外表進(jìn)行描繪,個(gè)性進(jìn)行比較。二、教學(xué)重難點(diǎn)1. 教學(xué)重點(diǎn):1) 形容詞或副詞比較級形式的構(gòu)成。 2) 表示兩者進(jìn)行比較的句式結(jié)構(gòu)。2. 教學(xué)難點(diǎn): He has shorter hair than Sam. Is Tom smarter than Tim? She also sings more loudly than Tara. 三、教學(xué)過程. Lead-in The teacher describes himself/herself. And then ask some students one question, ask some students to answer it.e.g. What do you look like? I am tall.And then ask several group of students to help to compare themselves. -What does Mary look like?-She is tall/short/thin/fat. Presentation Ask Ss to tell the differences of these students.e.g. Mary is taller than Lily.Lily is more outgoing than Mary.Summarize the Comparatives. . Exercise Ask Ss to finish 1a. Give them 1 minute to finish 1a and then ask them to check the answer. And find out how to change the words to comparative degrees.Practice Look at the picture and compare three pairs of the twins. Ask the Ss finish this part one by one.Listening Then listen to the recording. Ask Ss to number the twins.Check the answers. . Pair work Point out the sample conversation in activity 1c.Say, now work with a partner. Make your own conversation about the twins.Ask several pairs to say one or more of their conversations. . Group workFour Ss in a group to write a short article about their ideal monitor. The Ss finish the work together and then ask one of them to read the short article to the other Ss. .Summary Ask the student to summarize how to change adj or adv to its comparative degrees. ExerciseGive the Ss 2 minutes to finish the exercises by themselves and the check them one by one. At last tell the Ss some sayings.Homew
