(中文)3. this english speaking contest is and has bee the traditional event which takes placeis a good opportunity for the english learners to demonstrate their language skills and also learn from each other. every year,it attracts many english lovers in our school. (中文)year there are altogether (數(shù)量) contestants to participate in the petition,i just cant wait to watch the wonderful performance given by all of them. im sure it will be a more exciting petition this year! (中文), lets get to the point .next warmly wele to our honorable guests presentare . .(中文)also,id like to introduce you our distinguishied judges. they aremi, english teachermr. , english teacher.(中文).(中文)warmly wele!first,we would like to invite to declare the opening of the english speaking contest .wele!before the fierce petition begins,let go over the rules and judging criteria.todays petition is divided into 2 parts:(比賽規(guī)則)the full mark will beeach contestant is judged according to the following 4 aspects: content(40%),language ability(25%),delivery skills(25%) and manners(10%).now lets give a big hand to contestant-several days before,when i was walking around in the courtyard,i looked up at the sky and suddenly found the shouting star appear once and then vanish from mythat time,i couldnt forbear to make a shiveringcouldnt forbear to shout one word out:hope!and then,i fell into thought.when i got back to the true life,i felt that in the center of my heart there was a clear conclusion never surpassed before-it was love,and then i continued to walk around with the echoes of my voice andthe darkness.you might say that it was philosophy,but i prefered to call it love itself rather than philosophy.you ask, why?i say because its true that we have been leading a difficult life,for we need not only to be under various external pressures,but also to be in the face of internalwould be effected by the warmth of life if soneone gives you an understanding look during your bittera mere glance can mske you moved andes directly from life and it effects life as well.you ask,what is love?id like to answer you by using a paragraph of theis patient; love is kind; love is not envious or boastful or arrogant or rude. it does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful; it does not rejoice in wrongdoing, but rejoices in the truth. i t bears all things, hopes all things, endures all things. love neverask,what is the reason for us to seek love?i want to answer you by using a paragraph from rossell:i have sought love, first, because it brings ecstasy-ecstasy so great that i would often have sacrificed all the rest of my life for a few hours for this joy. i have sought it, next, because it relieves loneliness-that terrible lonelinein which one shivering consciousnelooks over the rim of the world into the cold unfathomable lifeleabyss. i have sought it, finally, because in the union of love i have seen, in a mystic miniature, the prefiguring vision of the heaven that saints and poets have imagined.you ask,what is you dream?i can answer in one word-it is love.i have a dream,that one day,every part of this world will be full of love and people always help each other.i have a dream,that one day,the main melody of the world will be to foster and enhance love forever and ever.i have a dream,that one day,in each part of society,love is executed and isnt concealed by habit,blurred by time,and eroded by laziness.i have a dream,thatone day,even the most mon people and the greatest people will be able to sit down together at the table of brotherhood.i have a dream,today!who will separate us from love? will hardship, or distre, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? no, in all these things we are more than conquerors through love.i have a dream,that one day,i will be able to live as the only herald to the gaudy spring of love.i wouldnt care succeor failure, for i will only struggle ahead as long as i have been destined to the distance. i wouldnt care the difficulties around, for what i can leave on the earth is only their view of my back since i have been marching toward the horizontal.i have a dream that one day,when the saints and poets look at this world,they all will hear the footsteps of love!(圣經(jīng)中引用內(nèi)容譯文:愛(ài)是恒久忍耐,又有恩慈;愛(ài)是不嫉妒,愛(ài)是
