Unit 3 What were you doing when the UFO arrived?Section A(1a-2c) Period2Teaching and learning Goals:Enable the students to mater the words and theexpressions: UFO, alien, land, kitchen,bathroom, bedroom, barber shop, while, get out of the shower, cut hair, talk onthe phone, take off. The students can use the past progressive tense totalk about the past events according to the situations. Enable the students to understandthe different use of “when” and “while”. At thesame time, cultivate the students interest to explore the outer space.Teaching and learning steps:Step1. PreviewTranslate the phrases and sentences orally:1.在前面_ 2. 在理發(fā)店里_ 3. 睡懶覺(jué)_4. 在電話上聊天_ 5. 從浴室里出來(lái)_6.航天博物館_ 7.沿著街走_(dá) 8.起飛_9.當(dāng)UFO到訪的時(shí)候你在干什么?_10.當(dāng)UFO起飛時(shí)這個(gè)女孩在干什么?_11.當(dāng)外星人在買紀(jì)念品時(shí),那位女孩報(bào)了警。_【設(shè)計(jì)說(shuō)明】培養(yǎng)學(xué)生養(yǎng)成預(yù)習(xí)習(xí)慣,本部分由于短語(yǔ)和生詞不多,所以把短語(yǔ)拿出來(lái)作為預(yù)習(xí)任務(wù),通過(guò)檢查預(yù)習(xí)效果,師生可以做到心中有數(shù),教師可以更有針對(duì)性地教,學(xué)生可以更有針對(duì)性的學(xué)。Step2.
