一、教學目標:1.語言知識目標:1)學習掌握下列詞匯:object, magic,stick, hide, tail, turninto, excite, western2 )閱讀短文,能按要求找到相應的信息。3)通過閱讀提高學生們的閱讀能力。4)了解西游記中美猴王這一人物的大體情況。2.情感態(tài)度價值觀目標:多閱讀中國傳統(tǒng)文學名著,讓學生們明白中國傳統(tǒng)文化的博大、精深,并吸取中國傳統(tǒng)文化中的精華。二、教學重難點1.教學重點:1)掌握本部分出現的生詞和詞組,達到熟練運用的目標。2)閱讀短文,獲得相關的信息。通過閱讀練習,來提高閱讀能力。2.教學難點:1)閱讀短文,獲得相關的信息的能力。2)理解并運用所學的詞匯及表達方式。三、教學過程Step 1 Lead-in1. Look at the pictures and answer the questions.1. Who are they ?2. In which book are they the main characters ?3. Which character do you like best ? Keys:1. Theyre Zhujie, Sun Wukong , Sha Heshang and Tang Seng.2.Journey to the West.3.I like Monkey King best. 2. Listen to music and ask;Do you want to learn something about the Monkey King?Step 2 New words 1. Look at the pictures and learn about the new words.1. object n.物體 2. tail n. 尾巴 3. stick n. 棍,條 4. excite v. 使激動;使興奮 5. western adj.西方的2. 學生們根據講解,理解這些單詞的用法,并試著強化記憶。Step 3 ReadingWork on 3a;1. Tell Ss to read the article in 3a quickly and try to find the answer to the questions; Which book is talked about ? Who is the main character? What is he like?Ss read the article quickly and try to answer the questions:2. 方法指導:帶著問題,然后快速閱讀短文,爭取在較短的時間內,找到答案。3. 學生們按老師指導的方法進行閱讀,并快速回答這三個問題。4. 最后。教師讓部分學生回答答案,并校對答案。Keys: 1. Journey to the West.2. The Monkey King.3. He is not just any normal monkey. In fact, he sometimes does not even look like a monkey !Work on 3b:1. 告訴學生們再次閱讀短文內容,并完成3b表格中的內容。2. 學生們帶著這兩個問題,仔細讀短文,在短文的相關信息處劃線。3. 讓學生們完成表格,并校對答案。What he can do: He can make 72 changes to his shape and size, turing himself into different animals and objects. The teacher show some questions on the screen(引導學生回顧“愚公移山”的故事)Do you still remember the story we learned yesterday ?How does the story Yu Gong Moves a Mountain begin ?What happened next ?Why was Yu Gong trying to move the mountains?(教師可引導學生使用一些過渡性的語言:once upon a time ,there was ., as soon as,because, so.that, unless等)2. Let the students go through the sentences in Grammar Focus and pay attention to the use of “as soon as, unless, because.”3. Show some other examples and let them read aloudStep 5 Practice 4a-4b1. First let the students go through the sentences in a( 讓學生說出描述的是什么故事)3a. Fill in the blanks with proper words and practice reading.( 讓學生再次體會“as soon as,unless,because,”的用法,明確敘述故事的環(huán)節(jié))Help the students deal with the difficult words and phrases.2.
