Is it made of silver? Yes, and it was made in Thailand.2. To talk about what products are made of and where they were made.3. Train studentslistening and communicative comepetence.Process and methods:1. Learn the new words through pictures and on the screen and conversations.2. Teach activity 1c.Divide students into pairs to talk about what the products in 1b are made of and where they were made. Tell them they must make conversations like the one in 1a and use the information in 1b.Get students several minutes to do this work.Later, invite several pairs to act out for the whole class.StepII PracticeThis part is designed to help students consolidate the target language through listening practice.First,lead students to look at the instruction of 2a and the statements in the box.Play the tape for the first time .Students need to listen carefully to get the main idea .Check the main topic from the box.Then,ask students to have a fast view of the four questions in 2b.Ask students to listen to the tape again to make some notes to answer these questions.Ask them to do this work individually.Play the tape one more time,invite several volunteers to check the answers.2.
