Develop their reading skills: skimming, scanning and skills of finding the order of events to retell the story. Show some pictures about problems or accidents that can happen in our daily life.3. Lead in to the topic: mountain climbing What do you think of the mountain climbing?Step 2:Pre-reading (2min)Task 1:Introduce Aron Ralston brieflyTask 2: Look at the picture and the title and predict what we will read.Step 3:While-reading (15min)Task1: Underline the topic sentence of each paragraph and circle Step2, 3Purpose: With the help of the groups of the questions, to make students be clear about Arons real experiences and develop their reading skills.The pair-work here is to help students check their answers together and practice their cooperative learning skills.the key words.
