1、Unit 1 Making friends 廣州市第89中學 賀素娟一、教材分析本單元圍繞著談?wù)摗敖挥选眮碚归_聽、說、讀、寫的訓練。教材提供了兩封信件,以信件的形式了解結(jié)交朋友過程中如何介紹自己以及如何了解對方的情況。語法方面主要復習特殊疑問詞引導的特殊疑問句以及冠詞a, an, the的用法。具體課型安排如下:ReadinglisteninglanguagespeakingwritingA. Alphabetical orderP.16二、教學對象分析1. 學生剛由小學升入中學,對新環(huán)境不太熟悉,通過交友這一活動的開展,學生之間可以增進相互了解,有利于開展本單元的聽、說、讀、寫任務(wù)。2. 學生在小學階段
3、就已經(jīng)接觸過了wh-questions以及冠詞a, an, the的用法,本單元再通過系統(tǒng)地復習,在學習方式上引導學生學習歸納總結(jié)。三、單元教學目標1.認知目標: 學習水平學習內(nèi)容學習水平的描述語音1. 能掌握特殊疑問句的語調(diào)。2. 能流利地朗讀課文及與課文水平相當?shù)亩涛模Z音、語調(diào)、句子重音和停頓基本正確。詞匯1. 重點詞匯單詞:penfriend, address, magazine, hobby, own, architect, form, keen, physics, engineer, photograph, table tennis, partner, pioneer, prima

8、習的能力。四、單元教學重點1. 學生熟練掌握重點詞語,詞組及句型。2指導學生利用所學句型正確表達思想、進行交際活動。3指導學生歸納、總結(jié)特殊疑問句及冠詞a, an, the的用法,并在實踐運用中熟練運用。4. 指導學生規(guī)范地寫信。五、單元教學難點1. 書信的格式和內(nèi)容。2. 特殊疑問句的歸納整理及運用。3. 冠詞a, an, the的歸納整理及運用。六、教學策略 1. 引導學生積極主動的通過預習完成可以自己學會的部分,課堂學習完成學習的重難點,通過復習及歸納總結(jié)完善單元的學習。2. 在教學中以舊帶新,引導學生用正確的句子表達思想。 3. 適當補充與課文話題相關(guān)的內(nèi)容,拓展學生的閱讀視野。七、媒
9、體的選擇與設(shè)計1充分利用和發(fā)揮基本的教學媒體,如錄音機,教師的body language、板書的作用。2適時、合理地使用多媒體,增大課堂的容量,更好地輔助教學。八、各課時教學內(nèi)容安排建議課時教學內(nèi)容及課型教學目標及簡單教學環(huán)節(jié)設(shè)計第1課時Reading A 新授課一、定位: input-based,訓練各種聽與說的語言微技能,并給予閱讀學習策略的指導,讀為主。二、教學設(shè)計:Step 1 Leading-in1. Ask a few Ss the following questionsQ1: Do you know all the students in our class? Q2: What
10、will you do if you want to know your new classmates?Q3: How will you introduce yourself?(write down some words Ss have mentioned on the Bb) Q4: We can make friends by talking with them, and do you know some other ways of making friends?(write down their ways on the Bb, eg: write a letter, an e-mail,
11、 QQ etc.)Today, we are going to learn one of the ways, writing a letter.2. Show a letter, a diary, a story, a postcard to Ss, and ask them to tell which one is a letter. Ask why they think its a letter. As Ss answer the question, write down their answers on the Bb. Ss can also finish A1.Step 2 Readi
12、ng1. First reading1) Ask Ss to read the letter quickly (1-2 mins) and finish A2.2) Q: What do we know from the five parts? For example, who wrote the letter?Ask Ss to give their answers.2. Second reading1) Ask Ss to read the letter carefully and finish A3. Check the answers. Ask Ss to find the infor
13、mation in the letter, and use complete sentences to talk about the things. (Ask Ss to practice in groups)Eg: His full name is Li Peicheng. He is 12 years old. He is 163cm. 2) Ask Ss to find out what Simon writes in his letter. Compared it with the things some Ss in the class just talked about. Eg: 1
14、. Something about himself 2. His family 3. His life at school 4. The photo3) Ask Ss to underline the new sentence patterns they like or they think useful. Use 2-4sentences to retell each part of the things Simon writes in the letter.4) Ask Ss to look at the photo, and guess which one is Simon in the
15、 photo. And why?3. Third readingPlay the tape, Ss listen and repeat after it.Step 3 After reading Ask Ss to retell the main idea in their own language. Suggest Ss to use some phrases or sentences patterns they learn in the letter. Or if possible, they can also choose to answer the letter and introdu
16、ce something about themselves.Step 4 Homework1. Recite the letter or retell the main idea of the letter.2. Group work. Give Ss 3 minutes to introduce the persons in the photograph in groups (Each group member can choose
22、one or two persons in the photograph). Tell Ss that they cant look at the letter to introduce them, but they can use the table they have filled in to help.2. Games. Tell Ss that they can form a new friend group in the class. The group will stand in front of the class to be a photograph. Anyone in th
23、is “photograph” can give a talk about this “photograph”. They should describe their friends names, the position they stand in the photograph, their hobbies, what they look like and so on.Step 5 Homework Ask Ss to draw a photograph “ My school friends and me”. And write a short passage to talk about
24、the friends in the photograph.第3課時listening A & B一、定位:input-based,訓練各種聽與說的語言微技能,并給予聽的學習策略的指導。二、教學環(huán)節(jié)設(shè)計:Step 1 Pre-listening1. Tell Ss that they are going to do listening exercises. Ask some of the Ss what they will do before listening.2. Learn the study tips with Ss by asking Ss to read the tips on t
25、heir book carefully.3. Ask Ss to read the table A1 carefully and predict what kind of information they could fill in the blanks. Ss can discuss in groups and write down their answers with pencils.4. Ask Ss what they must pay attention to when they write. Eg: their spelling, the first letter of the w
26、ord, how to write a number etc.Step 2 Listening A1. Play the recording for Ss to listen and complete the table.2. Play the recording again for Ss to listen and ask them to check their spelling.3. Check the answers and see how well they did in the prediction.4. Ask Ss to look at the pictures (A2)care
27、fully, and predict which four of them are Simons friends after they finish A1.5. Play the recording for Ss to listen and check their answers.Step 3 Listening B1. Show the photo in the textbook to Ss and tell them that they are going to listen to a passage about Sun Fei and his class. Ss look at the
28、photo carefully and talk about the six students in the photo. Ask Ss to talk about their features. Eg: How many boys or girls are there in the photo? Who is in glasses, a boy or a girl? Who looks fat? What does their hair look like?2. Play the recording for Ss to listen and ask them to write down th
29、e names of Sun Fei and his classmates on the photo. Tell Ss that they can use abbreviations to note the names quickly. Check the answers. 3. Ask Ss to read the questions in B1 carefully and then play the recording again for them to finish B1. Tell Ss that they can take some notes while listening. Ch

If not, play the recording again for them to listen and write the names.Step 4 Summary Give Ss some time and get them to summarize the skills of completing a table of information and answering some questions of a passa
