一、知識(shí)點(diǎn)解析

1、基數(shù)詞表示事物數(shù)目的詞稱為基數(shù)詞

（1）基數(shù)詞的讀法。

1,000以上數(shù)目的讀法：自右向左每三位劃一個(gè)分節(jié)“，”，第一個(gè)分節(jié)讀thousand,第二

個(gè)分節(jié)讀million,第三個(gè)分節(jié)讀billion或thousandmillion,且hundred,thousand,

million等用單數(shù)形式。注意，百位數(shù)hundred與十位數(shù)（或個(gè)位數(shù)）之間要用and連接。

如:32,468讀作:thirtytwothousand,fourhundredandsixtyeight.

（2）基數(shù)詞的用法

a.基數(shù)詞在句中主要用作主語(yǔ)、賓語(yǔ)、定語(yǔ)、表語(yǔ)、同位語(yǔ)，例如：

Thirtyofthemareboys.（主語(yǔ)）

他們當(dāng)中有三十人是男孩，

-Howmanywouldyoulike?

你想要多少個(gè)？

一I'dlikethree,please.（作賓語(yǔ)）

二個(gè)。

ThethreeboysarefromClassTen.（定語(yǔ)）

這三個(gè)男生都來(lái)自十班。

Sevenplusthreeisten.（表語(yǔ)）

七加三等于十

Wefourwillgotogether.（同位語(yǔ)）

我們四個(gè)一塊去。

b.表示一個(gè)具體數(shù)字時(shí),hundred,thousand,million不用復(fù)數(shù)

Ourcountryhasapopulationof1,300millionpeople.

我們國(guó)家有十三億人口。

Therearethreethousandstudentsinourschool.

我們學(xué)校有三千名學(xué)生。

c.在表示一個(gè)不確定數(shù)字時(shí)則用復(fù)數(shù)。

ThousandsofpeoplevisitShanghai.

成千上萬(wàn)的人前來(lái)上海參觀。

Theyarrivedintwosandthrees.

他們?nèi)齼蓛傻氐搅恕?/p>

d.表示“……十”的數(shù)詞的復(fù)數(shù)形式可用來(lái)表示人的歲數(shù)或年代，例如：

Howasfamousinhisearlythirties.

他三十多歲的時(shí)候就出名了

Thistookplaceinthe1930s.

這事件發(fā)生在二十世紀(jì)三十年代。

e.表示時(shí)刻用基數(shù)詞。

Wegetupatsix.

我們六點(diǎn)鐘起床。

Theworkersbeginworkateight.

工人們八點(diǎn)開(kāi)始工作。

表示“幾點(diǎn)過(guò)幾分”，用介詞past,但分鐘數(shù)須在半小時(shí)以內(nèi)。例如：

tenpastten10:00

aquarterpastnine9:15

halfpasttwelve12:30

表示“幾點(diǎn)差幾分”用介詞to,但分?jǐn)?shù)數(shù)須在半小時(shí)以上。例如：

twentytonine8:40

fivetoeight7:55

aquartertoten9:45

表示“幾點(diǎn)幾分”還可直接用基數(shù)詞。例如：

sevenfifteen7:15

eleventhirty11：30

ninetwenty9:20

2、序數(shù)詞表示事物順序的數(shù)詞稱為序數(shù)詞。

序數(shù)詞的構(gòu)成及基本用法，注意：序數(shù)詞一般以與之相應(yīng)的基數(shù)詞后加th構(gòu)成，少數(shù)幾個(gè)

需特別記憶。為方便大家記憶，請(qǐng)看下面口訣。

基變序,有規(guī)律,first,second,third要牢記;

其它變化有公式，基數(shù)詞尾加th;

eightit,nineie;

從twenty,thirty到ninety,需變y為ie;

fiv。和twelve,需將vc變f;

若是遇到“幾十幾”，只變個(gè)位就可以。

另外，注意：序數(shù)詞前要加定冠詞the,在句中作定語(yǔ)放在所修飾的名詞前。

如：Decemberisthetwelfthmonthoftheyear.十二月是一年中的第12個(gè)月。

a.序數(shù)詞主要用作定語(yǔ)，前面要加定冠詞。

如：Thefirsttruckismybrother's.

第一輛卡車是我哥哥的。

Johnlivesonthefifteenthfloor.

約翰住在第十五樓。

“再一”，"又一”這樣的意思。

如：We?11havetodoitasecondtime.

我們得再做一次。

我可以讓他再試一次嗎？

c.表示分?jǐn)?shù)時(shí)，分子用基數(shù)詞表示，分母用序數(shù)詞表示,分子大于1時(shí)，分母加s。

如：threefourths四分之三

onesecond二分之一

twofifths二分之五

序數(shù)詞有時(shí)用縮寫形式：

firsl-4stsecond—2nd

third-*3rdfourth-*4th

twentysecond-*22nd

附1：倍數(shù)的用法

倍數(shù)+形容詞/副詞比較級(jí)+than

Thegirlistentimesclevererthanherbrother.

這位女孩比她的弟弟聰明十倍。

倍數(shù)+as+形容詞/副詞/(名詞)+as

Hishouseisthreetimesaslargeasthatofmine

他的房子是我的房子的三倍。

附2：表示“次數(shù)”時(shí)，“一次”用once,“兩次”用twice,“三次”以上用“基數(shù)詞+times"

來(lái)表示。
