【辨析】else和other

兩者都有“其他的；別的”之意，但用法上有區(qū)別。else副詞主要用于who、what、where、when等疑問詞或something、anything、nothing、somebody、nobody、anybody等不定代詞之后other形容詞修飾名詞時，須放在名詞之前；還可以位于代詞one或ones前起修飾作用例如：Whoelsewantstohaveatry還有誰想試一試？Wouldyoulikesomethingelse你還想要些別的嗎？Whatotheranimalsliveinthewetlands濕地里還生活著什么其他動物？Youhavetwobikes.Oneisinthegarden.Whereistheotherone你有兩輛自行車。一輛在花園里，另一輛在哪里4.后綴-er、-or和-ist

英語中，一些動詞或名詞后面加上-er、-or、-ist等后綴就可以構(gòu)成名詞，表示“從事某種職業(yè)的人”或者“某一類人”。下面將表示“人”的詞綴加以分類總結(jié)。

（1）加-er表示“從事某種職業(yè)的人”，或泛指“……者”。例如：

worker

teacher

driver

（2）加-or表示“從事某種職業(yè)的人”或“……者”，一般加在以t結(jié)尾的動詞后。例如：

actor

director

visitor

（3）加-ist表示“人”，這類詞多數(shù)情況下表示事業(yè)有成或較為特殊的一類人，常譯為“……家”。例如：
