狀語從句在復(fù)合句中作狀語，修飾動詞、形容詞或副詞等。狀語從句可以表示時(shí)間、條件、原因、地點(diǎn)、

目的、結(jié)果、讓步、方式、比較等意義。

時(shí)間狀語從句：

條件狀語從句：

Aslongaslamalive,IwillgoonstudPing.只要我活著,我就要學(xué)習(xí)。

原因狀語從句：

Sincewelivenearthesea,weenjoPniceweathe由于我們住在海邊，能享受至4X子的天氣。

地點(diǎn)狀語從句：

Putitwherewecanallseeit把它放在我們都能看到的位置。

目的狀語從句：

FinishthissothatPoucanstartanothe把這個(gè)做完，（為了）你可以開始另一個(gè)。

結(jié)果狀語從句：

HewassoangrPthathecouldntsaPaword他氣得說不出話了。

讓步狀語從句：

Thoughheisinpoorhealth,heworkshard雖然他身體不好，但是他工作很努力。

方式狀語從句：

Studentsdoastheteacherssa學(xué)生們按照老師說的去做。

比較狀語從句：

Theworkisn'taseasPisithought.這項(xiàng)工作比我想象得難。

例題解析：舉一反三，學(xué)的更輕松！

1.易混引導(dǎo)詞while,when,as的區(qū)別：

when可以和延續(xù)性動詞連用，也可以和短暫性動詞連用；而while和as只能和延續(xù)性動詞連用。女口：

Whenbecamein,hismotherwascooking.

When(While)wewereatschool,wewenttothelibrarPeverPdaP.

when從句的謂語動詞可以在主句謂語動作之前、之后或同時(shí)發(fā)生；while和as從句的謂語動作必須是

和主句謂語動作同時(shí)發(fā)生。

While表示時(shí)間段，因此，while從句的謂語動詞要用延續(xù)性動詞。如：

Pleasedon?ttalksoloudwhileothersareworking.

As與when用法相似，但著重強(qiáng)調(diào)主句動作與從句動作同時(shí)發(fā)生，有〃隨著....〃或〃一

邊……一邊……〃之意。如：

AsPougetolder,Pougetmoreknowledge隨著年齡的增長，你獲得的知識就越多。

在將來時(shí)從句中，常用when,且從句須用一般時(shí)代替將來時(shí)。

①Poushallborrowthebookwhenlhavefinishedreadingit.在我讀完這本書后，你可以借閱。

②WhenthemanagercomeshereforavisitneGtweek,Illtalkwithhimaboutthis.下周，經(jīng)理來這參觀時(shí)，

when用于表示----就.....的句型中(指過去的事情)。

sb.hadhardlP(=scarcelP)donesth.when…=HardlP/ScarcelPhadsb.donesth.when…

①IhadhardlP/scarcelPclosedmPePeswhensomeoneknockedatthedoor.二HardlP/

ScarcelPhadlclosedmPePeswhensomeoneknockedatthedoor.我剛一閉上眼，就有人在敲門了。

②IhadhardlP/scarcelPenteredmProomwhenthetelephonerang.=HardlP/

ScarcelPhadlenteredmProomwhenthetelephonerang.我剛一走進(jìn)房門，電話就響了

2.Because,as,sine口的區(qū)別：

Because用于表示直接原因，回答whP提出的問題，語氣最強(qiáng)；As用于說明原因，著重點(diǎn)在主句,

常譯成〃由于〃;sinee表示顯然的或已知的理由或事實(shí)，常譯成〃既然〃。如：

WaterisverPimportantbecausewecan*tlivewithoutit.

Hedidn，tcomePesterdaPashismotherwasill.

3.such…that,so---thatjthat引導(dǎo)結(jié)果狀語從句的區(qū)別：

such是形容詞，修飾名詞；S。是副詞，修飾形容詞或副詞。其結(jié)構(gòu)如下：

1)such+a(n)+形容詞+單數(shù)可數(shù)名詞+that

2)such+形容詞+復(fù)數(shù)可數(shù)名詞+that....

3)such+形容詞+不可數(shù)名詞+that...。如：

Thiswassuchagoodfilmthatlwenttoseeitseveraltimes.

ItwassuchgoodbooksthatthePsellwell.

ItwassuchbadweatherthatlhadtostaPathome.

注：在“形容詞+可數(shù)名詞復(fù)數(shù)/不可數(shù)名詞”結(jié)構(gòu)中，當(dāng)名詞前有manP,much,few,little

表示數(shù)量的多少時(shí)，名詞前用SOo如：

sothat既可以引導(dǎo)目的狀語從句又可以引導(dǎo)結(jié)果狀語從句

引導(dǎo)目的狀語從句時(shí)可譯為〃為了〃，引導(dǎo)結(jié)果狀語從句時(shí)可譯為〃以便〃如

(1)sothat引導(dǎo)目的狀語從句時(shí)表示以便為了￥從句中常使用

can/could/maP/might/wi11/would/should等情態(tài)動詞或助動詞引導(dǎo)結(jié)果狀語從句時(shí)從句中

一般不用can和maP等詞。

(2)Sothat引導(dǎo)的目的狀語從句之前不用逗號而sothat引導(dǎo)的結(jié)果狀語從句與主句之間

往往有逗號相隔開即略作停頓意思是因此;所以”請比較
