itemsinthefirstplace.Foodwasteisaseriousproblem,too.Toomanysupermarkets

encouragecustomerstobuymorethantheyneed.However,afewofthemarecoming

roundtotheideathatthiscannotcontinue,encouragingcustomerstoreusetheirplastic

bags,forexample.

Butthisisnotjustaboutsupermarkets.Itisaboutallofus.Wehavelearnedto

associate(聯(lián)系)packagingwithquality.Wehavelearnedtothinkthatsomething

unpackagedisofpoorquality.Thisisespeciallytrueoffood.Butisalsoappliestoawide

rangeofconsumer(消費者)products,whichoftenhavefarmorepackagingthan

necessary.

wanttomakemyparentsfeelproudofme,butI'mmoreconcernedaboutwhatI

considerasimportant.IpaymoreattentiontowhatIreallywanttodo.

Asanadult,I'veincreasinglyrealizedallthethingstobeafraidofinlife.I'verealized

myownlimitations.Anyonewithgoodreasoningskillssoonbeginstoseetheriskof

lookingforthe"hardtoreach"goal.Itwasn'tuntilIwastwenty-twoyearsoldthatIbegan

togetintouchwithmytrueself.AsAlbertEinsteinsaid,"Onceweacceptourlimitations,

wegobeyondthem."Afteracceptingmytrueself,Icanconfidentlytakecareofmyself

andfindthewaythatismostsuitableforme.
