OriginsofEnglish

Inrecentyears,theemergenceofnewtechnologiesandtheinfluenceofmassmediahavegreatlyimpactedEnglish.Theadventoftheinternetandsocialmediahasledtothecreationofnewformsofcommunication,suchastextingandtweeting,whichhaveintroducednewabbreviations,acronyms,andslangintotheEnglishlanguage.
