(2)Theworkerandthewriter(be)fromBeijing.

(3)Aknifeandforkusedtohavemeals.

(4)Thesingeranddanceronthestage.

(5)TheLeaguesecretaryandmonitoraskedtomakeaspeechatthemeetingyesterday.

4.倒裝句中的語(yǔ)法一致。(1)Twopicturesonthewall,whichattractmanypeople.

(4)Amongthestudentstheirteacher,whoisinherthirties.

5.由分?jǐn)?shù)或百分?jǐn)?shù)+名詞作主語(yǔ)時(shí),謂語(yǔ)動(dòng)詞的形式與of后面的名詞的數(shù)一致,即分?jǐn)?shù)或百分?jǐn)?shù)+of+不可數(shù)名詞或單數(shù)名詞,謂語(yǔ)動(dòng)詞用單數(shù)形式,分?jǐn)?shù)或百分?jǐn)?shù)+of+復(fù)數(shù)名詞,謂語(yǔ)動(dòng)詞用復(fù)數(shù)形式。(1)Tenpercentofthepupilsabsenttoday.

二、意義一致原則1.由集體名詞,如group,family,class,government,team,public,enemy,crowd,audience,club,party,crew等作主語(yǔ)時(shí),如果看成一個(gè)整體,謂語(yǔ)動(dòng)詞用單數(shù)形式,如果看成其中各成員,謂語(yǔ)動(dòng)詞則用復(fù)數(shù)形式。(1)Hisfamilyverylarge.

(2)Hisfamilymusiclovers.

(3)Thegroupmadeupofninestudents.

(4)Thegroupdancinghappily.

(5)Theteamsomegoodplayers.

(6)Theteamhandsome.

【嘗試運(yùn)用】(1)Theresearchgroup(is,are)madeupoffivepeople.

(2)What(do,does)thegroupwantfortheirlunch?

(3)Ourfamily(is,are)notpooranymore.

(4)Theclass(is,are)morethanfortyinnumber.

2.代詞作主語(yǔ)。(1)Neitherdog(is,are)big.

(2)Neitherofthem(is,are)big.

(3)Neitherrabbit(is,are)handsome.

(4)Neitheroftherabbits(is,are)handsome.

3.表示時(shí)間、距離、金錢等復(fù)數(shù)名詞作主語(yǔ),表達(dá)一個(gè)整體概念時(shí),謂語(yǔ)動(dòng)詞則用單數(shù)形式。(1)TwoyearspassedsinceIleftNingbo.

(2)Onemilliondollarsagreatsumofmoney.

4.以-s結(jié)尾的名詞本身不表示復(fù)數(shù)意義,謂語(yǔ)通常用單數(shù)形式,如news,maths,physics,theUnitedStates等作主語(yǔ),謂語(yǔ)動(dòng)詞用單數(shù)形式。(1)Everymeansbeentriedsincethen.

5.the+adj.作主語(yǔ)。the+adj.,表示一類人,謂語(yǔ)動(dòng)詞用復(fù)數(shù)形式,如theold,theyoung,therich,thepoor。the+adj.,表示某個(gè)人或一類抽象的事物,謂語(yǔ)動(dòng)詞用單數(shù)形式,如thebeautiful,thegood。(1)Theoldtakengoodcareofinoursociety.

(2)Therichforthedecisionbutthepoorareagainstit.

(3)Thewoundedayoungboy.

(4)Thebeautifulnotalwaysthesameasthegood.

三、就近一致原則(1)NotonlyhebutalsoI(be)invited.

(2)Neithermyglovesnormyhat(go)withthedress.

由or,either...or,neither...nor,notonly...butalso等連接的并列主語(yǔ),謂語(yǔ)動(dòng)詞常和靠近它的主語(yǔ)在單復(fù)數(shù)上保持一致。注意:主語(yǔ)+with/alongwith/togetherwith/including/but/except/like/among/aswellas/nomorethan/besides/ratherthan+名詞,謂語(yǔ)和主語(yǔ)在單復(fù)數(shù)上保持一致。(3)Theteacherwithanumberofstudents(be)intheclassroom.
