Preparingthenewfilewiththecorrecttemplate

CopythetemplatefileB2ProcA4.dot(ifyouprintonA4sizepaper)orB2ProcLe.dot(forLettersizepaper)tothetemplatedirectory.ThisdirectorycanbefoundbyselectingtheToolsmenu,OptionsandthenbytabbingtheFileLocations.WhentheWordprogrammehasbeenstartedopentheFilemenuandchooseNew.NowselectthetemplateB2ProcA4.dotorB2ProcLe.dot(seeabove).StartbyrenamingthedocumentbyclickingSaveAsinthemenuFiles.Nameyourfileasfollows:Firstthreelettersofthefilenameshouldbethefirstthreelettersofthelastnameofthefirstauthor,thesecondthreelettersshouldbethefirstletterofthefirstthreewordsofthetitleofthepaper(e.g.thispaper:balpat.doc).Nowyoucantypeyourpaper,orcopytheoldversionofyourpaperontothisnewformatedfile.

Copyingoldtextontonewfile

Openyouroldfileandthenewfile.SwitchbetweenthesetwowiththeWindowmenu.Selectalltextoftheoldfile(excludingtitle,authors,affiliationsandabstract)andpasteontobottomofnewfile,afterhavingdeletedthewordINTRODUCTION(seealsosection2.5).Checkthemarginsetting(PageSetupdialogboxinFilemenu)andcolumnsettings(seeTable1forcorrectsettings).Afterthiscopythetextswhichhavetobeplacedintheframes(seesections2.3and2.4).Inordertoavoiddisruptionofthetext
