Step2.Cometo“THINKABOUTIT.”

Step3.Listentothetapeandanswerthefollowingquestions.

1.WhenwerethefirstOlympics?

2.WhendidthemodernOlympicsstart?

Step4.Nowlet’slearnhowtousethenewwords.Makesomesentenceswiththenewwords.Sometimestheycanguessthemeaningsofthenewwords.

Step5.Readthetextandfindoutthewordsthatstandforplaces,time,medals,sportsandevents.

Places:Greece,Athens,Sydney,MexicoCity,LosAngeles

Time:ancient,modern,BC(BeforeChrist),AD
