afford通常與can/could/beableto等連用意思是“有足夠的(金錢,時間)做……”多用于否定句和疑問句。Eg:1).Wecannotafford(tobuy)anewcar.
2).ThishouseissoexpensivethatIcan’taffordit.3.That’saverylowpriceforsuchagreatproduct!
price意為“價格,價錢”,ataverylowprice意為“以很低的價格”。表示價格的高低要用high或low,不能用cheap或expensive。eg:1).Heboughtabikeataverylowprice.

highatpresent.3).Thishouseisexpensiveatpresent.4).Thiskindofbooksistoocheap.4.Idon’tthinkitwouldbesafetodomyhomeworkonabicycle.
Ithink后邊的賓語從句如果為否定句,要把否定詞not提到主句中,變成Idon’tthink.Eg:Idon’tthinkyouareright.我認(rèn)為你是不對的。
Ithink后邊帶賓語從句時,變反義疑問句時,應(yīng)變從句。例如1).Ithinkheisagoodteacher,_________?2).Idon’tthinkheisagoodteacher_________?isn’theishe注:與Ithink用法相同的詞有Ibelieve,Isuppose等。Practice:1.Fillintheblankswiththecorrectformsofthewordsandphrases:
