Abstract:

Fattyliverdiseasehasbecomeacommonhealthproblemworldwide,andthesearchforeffectiveandsafetreatmentsisofgreatimportance.Dandelionroothasbeentraditionallyusedinfolkmedicineforliver-relatedailments,anditspotentialtherapeuticeffectshavebeenexploredinvariousstudies.Thisexperimentalresearchaimedtoinvestigatetheefficacyofdandelionrootpowderinthetreatmentofmildfattyliver.

Introduction:

Fattyliverdiseasereferstotheabnormalaccumulationoffatinlivercells,whichcanleadtoinflammationandliverdamageifleftuntreated.Mildfattyliverisanearlystageofthediseaseandisreversiblewithappropriateinterventions.Dandelionroothasalonghistoryofuseintraditionalmedicineforvariousliverdisorders,anditsactivecompounds,suchasflavonoidsandterpenoids,possessanti-inflammatory,antioxidant,andhepatoprotectiveproperties.Thisstudyaimstoprovidescientificevidenceontheefficacyofdandelionrootpowderintreatingmildfattyliver.

Methods:

1.SelectionofParticipants:

-Atotalof100participantsaged30-60years,diagnosedwithmildfattyliverthroughultrasonography,wererecruitedforthestudy.

-Participantswithahistoryofliverdiseases,alcoholabuse,orothermetabolicdisorderswereexcluded.

2.ExperimentalDesign:

-Participantswererandomlydividedintotwogroups:thecontrolgroup(n=50)andthetreatmentgroup(n=50).

Findingsfromthisexperimentalresearchsuggestthatdandelionrootpowder,whenusedasanadjuncttostandardlifestylemodifications,maybeeffectiveintreatingmildfattyliver.Thehepatoprotectiveandanti-inflammatorypropertiesofdandelionrootcontributetotheimprovementinliverfunctionandreductioninliversteatosis.Furtherstudieswithlargersamplesizesandlongerfollow-upperiodsarenecessarytoconfirmthesefindingsandelucidatethemechanismsunderlyingthetherapeuticeffects.

Conclusion:
