GenerativeAIreferstoartificialintelligencethatcangeneratecontentratherthansimplyanalyzeoractonexistingdata.

GenerativeAImodels,suchasGPT-4,arebuiltandtrainedonacollatedsetofdata.Theycanbegeneralistsorspecialistsbuiltonpredefineddatacollectionsandaredesignedtoproduceoutputthathelpsrealizecertainhuman-directedrequests.Somemodelscan,forexample,predictthenextwordbasedonpreviousphrasesorthenextimagebasedondescriptionsofimagesthatcamebefore.

Thistrainingenablesthequickgenerationoforiginalcontent,includingtext,images,videoandcode.Withareduced

OtherrisksaroundgenerativeAIincludethepossibilitythatthetechnologycouldgeneratesensitiveinformation,suchaspersonaldata,thatcouldbeusedforidentitytheftortoinvadeone’sprivacy.Evenadisgruntledemployeeorangrycustomercouldcreatefakematerialtoharmyourcompany’sreputationorthatofoneofyouremployeesorexecutives.
