jobsummary:

underdirectsupervisionofafullyqualifiedcertifier/mentor,completessimplecertificationprojects.makesassistedtechnicaldecisionsbasedonknowledge,trainingandexperiencetomaintaintheintegrityofthecsamark.

responsibility:

1.workswithmentortoensurecompletionorprojectswithintimeframedeadlines.withmentorassistance,evaluatesproductsagainstrequirementsofnationaland/orinternationalstandards.withassistance,preparesworkordersforthetestprogram.worksincollaborationwithlabpersonneltodetermineapplicabletests.preparescertificationreports,certificatesofcomplianceandotherrelatedcsadocumentationforthementor.

2.classifiesproductbyuse,environmentandfunction.determinesapplicablerequirements/test/standard.determinessamplerequirementsandmethod/locationfortestingevaluationbestsuitedtocustomers'needs.conductspre-assessmentwithmentorassistance,ofequipmenttoensuretheunitisequippedwiththepropercomponentsandagreeswiththeconstructionindicatedontheworkorderandsubmittalinformation.

3.recordstestdata,preparescharts,tabulatesdataandcalculatesresultsasrequired.maintainsaccurate,orderlyandcompletetestdata.

4.strivestobecomemoreknowledgeableinnational/internationalstandardsthroughresearchofstandards,documentation,bulletinsandtechnicalarticlesinareaofspecialty.

5.performsotherdutiesasassignedbymentor,orvicemanager,productcertification.

education,experience&skill:

1.bachelor'sdegreeinengineering:e.g.wire&cableengineering

2.cet6orabove,goodatenglishandchineseinspeaking.

3.proficiencyinwindows,mswordandexcel.

4.2yearrelatedexperience.

5.knowledgeoflaboratoryinstrumentation,includingoperatingprinciplesandcalibrationprocedures,aswellasgenerallaboratoryprocedures.certificationexperienceatwire&cableispreferred.

6.mustbeteam-orientedwithgoodinterpersonalskillsandabilitiestocommunicateeffectivelybothorallyandinwriting.

7.self-motivatedandclient-serviceoriented.

8.strongproblem-solvingskills,detailoriented,strongorganizationalandtimemanagementskills.

9.useofvariouslabequipment,instrumentsandtools.

jobfunction:

underlimitedsupervision,independentlymanagesexecutionandtimelycompletionofengineeringprojectsbyanalyzingprojectscopeanddeterminingprojectspecifications,establishingtestprogramsforproductinvestigations,andpreparingreportsforclients.participatesinthedevelopmentofulrequirements,testmethods,andtestequipment.exercisesprojecthandlersignatureauthorityasprojecthandlerofrecordresponsibleforopening,maintenance,completion,andclosingofassignednewworkengineeringprojects.mayexercisereviewsignatureauthorityasassignedasreviewerofrecordresponsibleforinitialreview,statusreview,andfinaltechnicalreviewofallnewworkengineeringprojects.

4.coordinateslaboratoryactivitiesbypreparingdatasheetsandinstructionstotechnicians,schedulingandreviewingworkoflaboratorytechniciansandsupportstaffandestablishingcompletiondates.coordinatesadministrativeaspectsofprojectmanagement.servesasprojecthandlerofrecordandmaysignasreviewerofrecordasassigned

5.communicatesprojectstatusandresultstoclientsthroughfrequentcontactandbypreparingreports.preparesfollow-upserviceproceduresandinformationpages

6.integratescontinuousimprovementconceptsandtechniquesintoallaspectsofthejob

7.resolvesengineeringissuesassociatedwithvariationnoticesbyanalyzingandreportingontheacceptabilityofthevariations.
