In1907Annapersuadedhermother'schurchtocelebrateMother'sDayonthesecondanniversaryofhermother'sdeath,the2ndSundayofMay.In1910thefirstMother'sDayproclamationwasissuedbythegovernorofWestVirginia.By1911everystateobservedMother'sDay.In1914,PresidentWoodrowWilsondeclarethesecondSundayinMayasMother'sDay.OthercountriescelebrateMother'sDayaswell.ThecelebrateofMother'sDay
